When is Ibiza Weekender on ITV2, who are the reps, where is the hotel and what’s new in series six?
IT PROVED to be a smash-hit when it burst onto screens in 2013 as we watched a group of youngsters large it up on a Spanish island.
Initially called The Magaluf Weekend, the show has relocated to the neighbouring island of Ibiza and it's proving as wild as ever.
Here's all you need to know as the reps welcome a new group of fun-loving millennials to the party island.
What time is Ibiza Weekender on TV?
The next episode airs on Sunday April 2 at 9pm on ITV2.
The first episode of the current series aired on February 5.
Tonight's episode goes head-to-head with ITV's Sunday night drama Vera and BBC One's latest series of cop drama Line of Duty.
What is Ibiza Weekender?
It is a reality TV series which follows the antics of a group of 18-24 years olds spending the weekend on the Spanish island of Ibiza.
For some it is their first holiday away from their parents, and their every move is followed by a number of cameras rigged up around the hotel.
They are looked after by a group of reps who are on hand to help the holidaymakers have as much fun as possible – while doing the same for themselves.
When it first aired in 2013 it was called The Magaluf Weekender but in 2015 the show relocated to the neighbouring island of Ibiza.
Who are the reps?
Imogen Townley and Jordan Davies have been on the show since the very start and will return for this new series.
Deano Bailey, who Imogen cheated on her boyfriend with during series 5 is back, as is David, who was introduced last series.
He is now Head Rep along with Assistant Head Rep Jordan who quit the last series early to focus on his relationship with Towie's Megan McKenna.
The show welcomes new reps Laura and Hayley and reality TV fans will recognise the other newbie – Love island star Rykard Jenkins.
Where is the hotel and what do we know about this series?
The series is filmed at Ryan’s Ibiza Apartments in Playa d’en Bossa like last season.
The production uses a series of fixed rig cameras to capture all the activity inside the hotel as guests come and go.
The first episode will see the old faces reunited and the introduction of new reps, who David tells are on probation and could be sent home at any time.
Deano has to work with Imogen, who he kissed last series while also getting to know new rep Laura, his “dream girl”.
The second episode will see how they get on and sees new girl Hayley desperately making a play for Jordan, who is annoyed that mate Deano can’t embrace the single life.
