It comes after founding member Neil Finn has now sold the rights to some of their songs.

Earlier this week, Primary Wave Music announced a new partnership with Neil.

The multi-million-dollar deal sees the company acquiring Neil's music publishing catalogue and writer’s share of public performance for his work with Crowded House as well as his solo material.

Many of Neil's tracks that he wrote for Crowded House are included in the deal - like Don’t Dream It’s Over, Better Be Home Soon, Weather With You and his solo material and the songs he wrote as a member of Split Enz, including the 1980 hit I Got You.

The band previously split in 1996 and drummer Paul Hester quit in 1994.
