AN EIGHTIES movie star looked unrecognisable as he stripped topless on the beach in Australia.

The 70-year-old showed off his buff body and glowing tan as he took a dip in Sydney.

Yahoo Serious, who will turn 71 later this year, was seen brushing his long grey locks out of his face as he wound down from his morning exercise.

The Australian star, real name Greg Gomez Pead and best known for his films Young Einstein and Reckless Kelly, looked incredible as he turned up at the seafront wearing just blue shorts.

Yahoo also rocked some black sunglasses as he took his pooch for a walk.

The comedian is best known for Young Einstein, a cult film he wrote, acted, produced and directed in 1988.

It was a huge success grossing $24.9 million world wide and winning an award from the Australian Film Institute Awards.

Five years later Yahoo released his second film, Reckless Kelly.

Based on the legendary Australian gang leader Ned Kelly, it proved a hit down under but failed to take off in other countries.

His third film, 2000's Mr Accident about the most accident-prone man in the world, also failed to find an audience outside Australia.

In the same year he sued search engine Yahoo! for trademark infringement, however the case was later thrown out of court.

Yahoo went on to appear in several TV series and films as himself including Cinema 3 and Waltzing Matilda: The Song That Shaped A Nation.

His appearance in In the Cannes in 2007 was the last time he was on screens.

These days Yahoo doesn't do much acting but is the director of Kokoda Track Foundation, a humanitarian charity based in Papua New Guinea.
