Ed Sheeran’s fans fury as touts flog tickets for £1,000 for his hit tour after they sell out online in just five minutes
ED Sheeran fans are livid after tour tickets sold in minutes yesterday then reappeared online for up to £1,000.
The singer is doing 15 gigs in the UK and Ireland on his first tour in two years.
But touts overwhelmed online sellers including Ticketmaster to buy up seats before listing them for resale for hundreds of pounds more on secondary sites.
His tickets for London’s O2 Arena, costing £52 to £85, were being flogged for up to £1,000. And £77 ones at his Manchester concert were going for £650. Seats at other venues were around £300 on sites like StubHub! and Viagogo.

Sheeran, who is worth £38million, will bank £15million after yesterday’s frenzy for his April and May gigs. His spokesman urged fans to avoid unofficial sites and steered them towards face-value site Twickets.
StubHub! and Viagogo said sellers do not always get their inflated prices.
