Since splitting in 2005, the 45 -year-old has become a star on prime time telly, appearing as a judge on BBC Strictly from 2009, then subsequently being poached by Simon Cowell to star on Britain’s Got Talent in 2012.
But now the mother-of-two appears to be returning to her roots, having recently got back from a work trip in Jamaica, where she filmed her new music video for her latest track.
The TV star shared behind the scenes footage of her dancing in a pair of denim hotpants and a red bikini top, her hair in long tresses down her back.
The star clearly enjoyed being in Jamaica, which is the birthplace of her father Melvin, as she revealed that name of the single in the photo caption: “It’s bout to be a situation.”
Featuring a raga style beat, the lyrics include: “We’re about to burn it down, its about to be a situation, Don’t say I don’t want ya, I’m about to put it on ya.’
