CARDI B had no issue filling the Met Gala’s red carpet with her giant gown on Monday night as she and other A-list celebs stepped out in style for fashion’s biggest event of the year.
The rapper, who donned a voluminous black dress, completed this year’s theme, Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion with a dramatic look, putting her spin on ‘The Garden of Time’ dress code.
The 2024 Met Gala is held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City each year.
A host of A-list celebs and those in the fashion and business industry join Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour for the glitzy event.
Designs under this year’s theme were expected to include floral fabrics and pastel colors – and stars did not disappoint.
On Monday, TikTok’s CEO Shou Chew and Creative Director of LOEWE Jonathan Anderson were alongside Anna.
Celebrity co-chairs were Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lopez, and Zendaya.

CARDI B
Rapper Cardi B completely stunned fans with her giant dress that took over almost the entire green staircase and white Met Gala carpet.
Covering her breasts, her sleeveless dress was covered in black feathers and the star completed her look with emerald jewellery and a matching hair wrap.
The look took nine helpers to fan out across the carpet, with the gown trailing feet behind the star as she climbed the stairs for the event.
On X, formerly Twitter, Cardi was praised for the dramatic look.
“She eats every year,” one wrote.
“She looks amazing!” another added, as a third shared, “Cardi B always has never missed… it’s crazy she’s the gala icon.

Kylie Jenner arrived at the Met Gala wearing a cream-colored gown.
The makeup mogul dressed to impress in a sleeveless skintight ankle-length dress with matching shoes.
Met Gala 2024 Theme
The theme of the 2024 Met Gala is The Garden of Time, which draws inspiration from the latest exhibition of the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, titled Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.
To add a bit more to her look, the designer added a puffy train.
The Kardashians star had her black hair slicked back into a bun with a flower tucked into her locks.
Kylie wasn’t the only member of her mega-famous family to hit the steps as sisters Kim, 43, and Kendall, 28, were also in attendance.
Mom Kris Jenner, 68, was also spotted in an all-white ensemble.
RITA ORA
Rita Ora, 33, left little to the imagination in a sheer mesh bodysuit, covered loosely by a draping beaded dress.
The colorful beads featured shades of black, pink, orange, turquoise and white – and according to the Praising You singer, some were from the first and second century BC.
“I think, are older than anyone on this planet,” Rita told Vogue at the event.
SYDNEY SWEENEY
Sydney Sweeney debuted a new black bob, ditching her natural cool blonde tone for the evening.
The Euphoria star took the theme quite literally in a voluminous fairytale blue off-the-shoulder frock covered in ornate flowers.
Sydney’s new hairstyle complemented her Miu Miu dress and leather gloves perfectly.
EMILY RATAJKOWSKI
Never one to shy from the fashion gods, Emily joined numerous other celebs and donned a daring sheer dress.
Showing off her curves, the model left little to the imagination, dripped with crystals and pulling her hair into a spiked updo.
LANA DEL REY
This year’s Coachella headliner Lana Del Rey arrived on the carpet in a woodsy-themed attire.
The Off To The Races singer, 38, wore a tight beige dress with a matching sheer veil over her face.
Brown roots were growing from the bottom to the top of her sleeveless nude-colored dress.
Lana wore brown sticks as a headband that kept the veil in its place.
The music star also wore a ring with a huge red rose.

DEMI MOORE
Actress Demi Moore, 61, defied age while attending the glamorous event on Monday evening.
She looked happier than ever while posing for photographers in a black gown with large pink and white flowers printed on the fabric.
Her arms slid through two extra-large sleeves that curved around behind her.
The actress also posed with fashion mogul Harris Reed, who seemingly designed her outfit as their attires were similar.

Actress Jessica Biel looked picture-perfect in a super low-cut bright pink dress.
The wife of Justin Timberlake stunned fans with her flowy outfit that had feathers scattered along the fabric to match the theme of the evening.

GABRIELLE UNION AND DWAYNE WADE
A-list couple Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade looked red-carpet-ready with their Garden of Time-inspired outfits.
The former NBA star wore a lilac suit with a white V-neck t-shirt underneath.
Meanwhile, Gabrielle stunned in a mermaid-inspired blue ombre attire.

Zendaya hits up the green and white carpet looking as stylish as ever in a green and blue ensemble.

Rapper Doja Cat returned to the Met Gala as well.

Supermodel Gigi Hadid arrived at the Met Gala wearing a colorful dress.
The mum-of-one’s attire was plain white at the top but added color at the bottom with yellow flowers and green stems scattered over the fabric.
Her ensemble also had a black lining and tons of ruffles.
Gigi had her hair styled in a curly blonde bob with her makeup touched to perfection.

Actress Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban were spotted leaving their hotel to head to the Met.
The Big Little Lies actress, 56, defied age in a black-and-white ensemble.
While most of her dress was white, tons of black ruffles were styled in the front.
Nicole also added arms-length white gloves and minimal makeup with her hair resting down her back.

Jennifer Lopez walked the green and white carpet of the Met Gala without her husband, Ben Affleck.
The Jenny From The Block hitmaker wore a beige-colored dress that left little to the imagination.
Jennifer wore a plunging ensemble that featured sparkly details running throughout the dress and ended with a medium-sized train.

Latin superstar and co-chair Bad Bunny has arrived in a navy blue and red suit.
His ensemble also included white and red stitching going up and down his jacket and pants.
The hitmaker accessorized his look with a bouquet of flowers to match his attire, black leather gloves, diamond sunglasses, and a puffy hat.

Co-chair Chris Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky, showed off their rendition of Garden of Time while walking the green and white carpet.
The Thor actor wore a cream-colored suit while his beau – whom he married in 2010 – wore a gold see-through dress with a plunging bodysuit underneath.
Meanwhile, his wife wore tons of gold jewellery including chunky bracelets and a stunning tiara with her hair in a long side braid.
Chris also showed off an ample chest with a long necklace.
Fans shared their honest opinions on Chris’ outfit, however, as one said, “Get off the carpet with that bland a** suit.”
“There is nothing on theme here,” a second added.

Supermodel Ashley Graham wowed fans by flaunting her figure in a skintight black leather dress.
On top, her dress was thin-strapped and showed off some serious cleavage while having a floral design on her stomach that continued down to her thigh.
On the bottom, her skirt was sheer and fit her curves perfectly with a small train behind her.
The model’s black hair was styled in an updo with her bangs ending just above her eyebrows.

The Bear actress Ayo Edebiri was all smiles while posing for photographers at the Met Gala.
She revealed her idea of the Met theme with a white haltered-top dress that casually transformed into colorful flowers at the bottom.
“To make her look even more Spring-inspired, she added pink blush to her cheeks and painted her nails a variety of pastel colors.

Challengers actors Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist arrived at the glitzy event in style.
Josh wore a black tux but added a little flare as the ends of his jacket followed behind him as a train.
The Crown actor added a hint of floral design to his shoes.
Meanwhile, his co-star Mike went for a more casual Met look in a black and white suit but added a pin in the shape of an onion on his lapel.
