Celebrity Big Brother winner Coleen Nolan wants to save marriage… despite husband Ray failing to show up at final
COLEEN Nolan is determined to save her marriage - despite her husband Ray Fensome failing to attend the Celebrity Big Brother final.
The Loose Women panellist was crowned the winner of the Channel 5 reality show on Friday night, beating Jedward in the process.
After having a bit of time to let the news sink in, Coleen told Bit on the Side host Rylan Clark-Neal she had realised how much she still loved her husband despite their marital woes before she entered the house.
She said: "It’s made me realise how much I do need him in my life."
As the audience cheered, and Rylan gave her a kiss on the cheek, the 51-year-old elaborated on her feelings.
She continued: "Because when things did happen in the house that were hard and were sad, all my housemates were brilliant, but I just thought if he was here he would know exactly how I was feeling."
But in the next breath, Coleen admitted her husband of almost 10 years had not been in the crowd to see her win.
She joked: "But he’s in America so he might not come home!"
Before entering the house, Coleen revealed she was treating her stint on the show as a "trial separation" after confessing the couple were having some problems in their marriage.

Speaking during her time in the house, Coleen admitted both were at fault in their relationship.
She got personal during a candid chat with James Jordan in the kitchen, telling him: "I do think I’m having a midlife crisis, I don’t think it’s all him.
"I’m questioning everything - am I happy? I’m not putting all the blame on him. It’s just really sad.”
The star first spoke about her second marriage on Loose Women then elaborated further during an appearance on Channel 5's In Therapy.
She burst into tears as she spoke about her love for Ray and their arguments, saying: “I don’t want it to fail again…
“I really love him but I always feel like I’m having a go at him… That’s horrible.
We have a row and I walk out and it drives him mental. I don’t feel happy sometimes, and I have this thing in me...
"I can’t be bothered facing it and I can’t be bothered sorting this out."
"I can’t bare the thought of someone staying with me if they’re not happy – [if he leaves] I’ll get over it."
She also insisted she does not want to leave her husband because they have lost the spark and he "doesn't hold my hand any more".
