Katie faces a crunch hearing next week

KATIE Price has gone from boasting a £45million fortune to being twice bankrupt.

The glamour star has been kicked out of her “Mucky Mansion” in Horsham, West Sussex after being served an eviction notice.

The cash-strapped mum-of-five was first declared bankrupt in 2019 over unpaid debts of £3.2 million.

She was declared bankrupt for a second time in March over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05.

The demand for payment was made by HMRC last October.

Katie was due to give evidence about her finances at the High Court last month, but failed to turn up – holidaying in Cyprus with her new man JJ Slater instead.

She is due back in court to give evidence about her finances on May 14.

Mucky Mansion has been a bomb site for years after it was burgled, flooded and swamped by an overflowing septic tank.

Katie paid £1.35 million for the home back in October 2014 when she bought it from Tory peer Francis Maude.

A notice of eviction addressed to Katie, 45, has now reportedly been pinned to a fence outside her 8,000 square foot, nine-bed pile.

The letter, seen by The Sun, reads: “The court has issued a warrant or writ for the possession of the above property (land) at the request of the claimant.

Katie Price admits she doesn't know how much a loaf of bread costs

“A warrant gives a county court bailiff the authority to evict you and hand over possession to the claimant.”

The notice, issued on April 24, says all occupants of the house will be evicted at 10am on May 29 and warns them to leave the property with their belongings before this date.

Most recently, her ex Carl Woods had been using the garden as a vehicle forecourt for his used car sales business.

According to experts, if it was in a fit state, the model could get double what she paid – which is £2.7M.

But at best, it could be worth £1.5M, it has been suggested.

A MUCKY ORDEAL

A timeline of Katie's years in her Mucky Mansion:

2014 – Katie buys the ‘Mucky Mansion’ from Tory peer Francis Maude.

2019 – She’s declared bankrupt over unpaid debts of £3.2 million

September 2022 – Septic tank on the property leaks

August 2023 – Katie’s Mucky Mansion show axed and she reveals she’s renting out the Horsham home for £6,000-a-month

October 2023 – HMRC demand repayment for debts

March 2024 – Katie declared bankrupt for a second time over unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05

April 2024 – Photos emerge of Katie’s ten-strong car collection rotting away on her drive

May 2024 – The mum-of-five is issued with an eviction notice

May 29 – Katie must be out of the house

This is despite Katie fronting her own Channel 4 show, Katie Price‘s Mucky Mansion, and attempting an ambitious renovation.

The same month, she was seen launching into a rant about the ‘Mucky Mansion’ and her bankruptcy woes live on stage.

But it seems Katie is determined to keep on going as she gave an inspirational talk at an event.

Appearing alongside a moderator, the star got candid with the audience about the problems that she has so far faced in her life.

“You’ve followed my life, my journey, I say it as it is. Yes, I’m in a bankruptcy,” the My Mucky Mansion star explained.

“But guess what? I own my house. No one could take it off me as well.”

The former Celebrity Big Brother star insisted that she has more to offer despite her fame, more potential left in her and she’s building up her brand up again from the ground up.

“I think cos when you get there, then there’s another opportunity, you grow and you grow, in my eyes I haven’t made it,” Katie said.

“What I’ve gone through now I’m just at the beginning again and I’m gonna grow it again.”

Last month The Sun reported that Katie Price had decided to relocate up north for a fresh start and be nearer to Kerry Katona, her friend of 20 years.
