Sir Bradley Wiggins is second celebrity to be injured before new series of The Jump even starts
SIR Bradley Wiggins has become the latest star of The Jump to injure themselves - before the series has even begun.
The Olympic gold medal cyclist is taking part in the next series of the Channel 4 reality show, but just hours before its debut on Sunday, Bradley had to seek medical treatment.
Posting a picture on Instagram, the 36-year-old can be seen getting his ankle iced and heavily strapped up after an incident on the slopes.
Looking unimpressed at the camera as the medic dealt with his foot, he captioned the shot: "The show must go on #TheJump".
Thankfully fans of the Olympian and the show can breathe a sigh of relief, as his injury isn't so severe that he needs to pull out of the programme before it's even begun.
The same cannot be said for Irish model Vogue Williams though, who was forced to withdraw from the competition on Thursday.
The 31-year-old fell heavily during training for the programme on Wednesday, seriously damaging her knee.

She sustained the injury while practising for the Ski Cross — which sees celebrities race around a track at speeds of up to 75mph.
A source said: “Vogue is absolutely devastated. She was so looking forward to taking part and has been training religiously.
“She’s one of the most competitive of the group and was in with a real chance of winning.
“But she fell very heavily during the ski cross training and really hurt her knee and on doctor’s orders she has had to pull out.”
It was announced later that day that former I'm a Celebrity contestant Amy Willerton will replace Vogue.
Amy said: "This experience has gone from being an exciting over extended ski holiday to suddenly overnight throwing myself into competition mode - but I'm so so ready for that challenge!
She added: “I hope I can do Vogue proud."
