The Beach Boys star Mike Love, 83, and Bruce Johnson, 81, delighted show anchors Ben Shephard, 49, and Cat Deeley, 47, as they recalled the Good Vibration group's musical heyday.

The I Get Around hitmakers - who released first single Surfin in 1961 - were previously in talks for a Glastonbury comeback.

Now they have hinted fresh tour dates are afoot after giving an update on Beach Boys vocalist Brian Wilson, 81, who is reportedly suffering from Dementia.

This week, it was reported how a US judge had signed off a conservatorship for the star due to mental decline, months after his diagnosis.

Ben asked of the health issues and said: "How's that all going?"

Mike - who had previously locked horns with his cousin the past - said: "Well he needs specialist care ... you know, his family made the decision to do a medical ...

"Well I don't want to get into that too much except to say we wish him the best for he and his family.

"And we will all see each other at the ... well, you know," before realising his slip-up and adding: "I can't talk about when we are going to see each other."

Previously Brian claimed the OG Beach Boys had been "fired” by co-founder Mike after their 50th anniversary celebrations, something which he denied.

As the chat played out Ben, sensing a blunder, chipped in: "Hold on a second, you nearly let something slip then!" to which Mike replied: "Yes I did."

Bruce was laughing away on the sofa as Ben followed with: "Is there going to be a gig?

"Is there going to be a performance?"

Shutting down any further chat Mike, wearing a Beach Boys hat, said: "We can't talk about it."

Health update

Their health update on singer-songwriter Brian came after a petition to oversee Brian's affairs was filed in January.

It followed the death of his wife, Melinda Ledbetter Wilson.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Gus T. Maysaid there was "clear and convincing evidence that a conservatorship of the person is necessary," reported .

The vocalist's doctor said the musician suffered from a "major neurocognitive disorder" and needed help making healthcare decisions.

Brian is dad to seven children, two of whom live with him.
