SIR Bradley Wiggins has swore live on air within the first five minutes of The Jump's debut show.
The Channel 4 reality show returned on Sunday night with a new cast of celebrities ready to take on the winter sports in Austria.
After their introductions by host Davina McCall, she asked the gold medal Olympic cyclist why he had decided to take part in the programme.
As dead pan as ever, Sir Bradley replied: "Why not?" before adding he wanted to "p**s off" certain critics.
Davina quickly jumped in, saying: "We're not allowed to say that word at this time of the evening, so I'll apologise."
As the rest of the celebrities, including Josie Gibson, Robbie Fowler and Lydia Bright giggled, Davina linked into the first head to head like a pro, which was between Louis Smith and Spencer Matthews.
Days before the show began, Sir Bradley sustained an injury, posting a picture of himself getting his foot iced and strapped up by a medic.

Looking unimpressed at the camera as the medic dealt with his foot, he captioned the shot: "The show must go on #TheJump".
Thankfully fans of the Olympian and the show can breathe a sigh of relief, as his injury isn't so severe that he needs to pull out of the programme before it's even begun.
The same cannot be said for Irish model Vogue Williams though, who was forced to withdraw from the competition on Thursday.
The 31-year-old fell heavily during training for the programme on Wednesday, seriously damaging her knee.
She sustained the injury while practising for the Ski Cross — which sees celebrities race around a track at speeds of up to 75mph.
A source said: “Vogue is absolutely devastated. She was so looking forward to taking part and has been training religiously.
It was later announced she would be replaced by model Amy Willerton.
