Vogue Williams reveals she will be out of action for THREE MONTHS after rupturing her knee in training for The Jump

INJURED Vogue Williams has revealed she will be out of action for three months after rupturing her knee while training for The Jump.

The Irish DJ and presenter was forced to withdraw from the Channel 4 reality show just days before it began on Sunday night after falling badly during training.

, Vogue revealed the extend of the damage: "It was just such a pity and I’m devastated to say that I’m now out of the show.

I’ve ruptured my ACL in my knee so I’m going to be out of action for about three months.
"I was practicing my ski cross and had a fall but luckily the medic was there and I got back down the mountain super fast."

Vogue was replaced by model Amy Willerton, who managed to make it through the first show despite losing in her heat against fellow model Caprice, with former Big Brother winner Josie Gibson becoming the first celebrity to leave the show.

Vogue was present during the live show to cheer her successor and fellow celebrities on, and after a video was shown of the moment she injured herself, tearfully told host Davina McCall how devastated she was to be out of the competition.

She said: "I'm so upset. It was literally the best four weeks I've ever had.

"I'm so disappointed. I've made really good friends."

But determined as ever, Vogue insisted she would be back next year if the show returns for another series.

Asked if she will ski again, she said: "100 per cent! If The Jump comes back next year I'm going to be in it to win it!"

Elsewhere in the show, Sir Bradley Wiggins landed the programme in hot water after swearing on live TV within minutes of it starting.

After their introductions by Davina, she asked the gold medal Olympic cyclist why he had decided to take part in the programme.

As dead pan as ever, Sir Bradley replied: “Why not?” before adding he wanted to “p**s off” certain critics.

Davina quickly jumped in, saying: “We’re not allowed to say that word at this time of the evening, so I’ll apologise.”
