Phillip Schofield receives VERY rude bottle of wine from Gino D’Acampo after chef’s slot moved back on This Morning
The This Morning presenter was super impressed by the bottle of wine given to him by his co-star
PHILLIP Schofield loves his wine but this might be pushing it too far.
The This Morning presenter was gifted a special bottle of wine from chef Gino D'Acampo after the chef's slot was pushed back and he threw an epic but jokey strop over it.
Taking to Snapchat, Phillip posted a picture of the bottle of Cunto wine with the caption: "Gino just gave me this bottle of wine!!! Apparently it's very good!
"But what the hell were they thinking."
The wine retails for around £13 a bottle and comes with excellent reviews.
The thoughtful gift of the wine came after Gino threw an almighty - but hilarious - tantrum after his slot was pushed back on today's edition of the ITV morning show.
"Why so late?" he said. "Why at 12.15pm? I've been here since 9 o'clock this morning!"
He added: "What am I going to do until 12.15pm? I left at quarter to seven this morning!"
Phillip was probably in need of a glass of full-bodied fruity wine after his bracing interview with Celebrity Big Brother star Kim Woodburn.
Kim Woodburn threatened to “crucify” Phillip Schofield after they got in a heated war of words on the show.
The How Clean is Your House star failed to bite her acid tongue during her television interview on the brunchtime show this morning after the 54-year-old silver fox grilled her about her controversial aggressive behaviour on Celebrity Big Brother over the past month.
She snapped at the host: “You see Philip, you were not in there. I know what I went through. I went through hell. You weren’t in there so you won’t know, will you? I went through hell on earth. I was told [by the other housemates] to get back cleaning, which is disgraceful.”
Phillip hit back: “Well you said worse.”
The presenter and his co-host Holly Willoughby went on to ask the professional cleaner why she didn’t leave the infamous house if she had found the experience so “hellish”.
She explained: “Why should I leave? Why should I lose a massive sum of money for those bums. Would you lose a shed load money enough to buy a house that gets you out in three days? Not on your Nellie. It’s nothing to do with you Philip, what are they paying you? Don’t be cheeky!
“I think I am a nice person. I’d like you to have a word with all the crew I’ve worked with from the studio. I’m very polite. I have not have rows elsewhere.
“I’m employed by Channel 5. I said to Channel 5 if you put me in there, I never look for trouble. I do not look for trouble, Phil. If you bring it to me, I’ll crucify you.
"Don’t bring it to me. I am a very polite lady. I am very grateful for what I’ve made on television. I have manners but with those pigs in there, you couldn’t [have manners]. Sorry Phil, you weren’t there.”
Phillip shot back: “No but we all watched it on the television.”
She roared: “Excuse me - you watched 45 minutes a night. That’s filming for 24 hours.”
