Holly Willoughby appears to suggest Kim Woodburn’s fight with Phillip Schofield on This Morning was ‘faked’
Phillip and Kim got into a feisty exchange on This Morning after he quizzed her about her time on Celebrity Big Brother
HOLLY Willoughby has appeared to suggest that Kim Woodburn's explosive row with Phillip Schofield on This Morning was 'faked'.
The Celebrity Big Brother star appeared on the show on Monday to discuss her time in the house, and it lead to a feisty exchange with the host, ending with Kim branded Phil a “phoney”.
Speaking to the , Holly revealed Kim was fine afterwards and suggested her behaviour could be put on for the cameras.
She said: "Afterwards Kim was fine. She leaned across and said 'I do like you Phil, I do like you'.
"Then she said 'it's all good telly' and I thought ‘maybe she is just being very clever’.”
The video of their spat quickly went viral and The Sun has since exclusively revealed that Kim is now in talks for her own telly show as a result.
Holly admitted she didn't watch Celebrity Big Brother when it was on and didn't know what Kim had been like in the house.
She said: "I hadn't seen she had the potential to go. And then I saw the VT when we went into it and thought 'oh god' but I did not expect that to happen and for it to happen on the sofa, because essentially that happened in six minutes.
“I was a bit scared. I could see her getting bigger and more upset and it was bubbling and growing and she was getting a bit cross.
“Phil didn't say anything he wouldn't have said to anyone else. To be honest and I don’t really know what happened. They were in Big Brother for 31 days...”
Kim later suggested that Phil wasn't "neutral" with his questioning but Holly defended him saying: “You never have an intention to upset somebody or make them cross or make them have that sort of reaction, you never want to do that.
“But he felt, as did I, nobody had said anything we wouldn't have said to anyone else.”
Meanwhile, Phillip joked on Wednesday that Holly acted as his "human shield" from Kim during their sensational chat.
The interview sparked a slew of hilarious memes and on Wednesday, the 74-year-old's name cropped back up again during a chat with showbiz correspondent Rylan Clark-Neal.
Rylan laughed: "She just kills me" and Phillip replied: "She nearly killed me! If she could have got passed Holly she would have done!"
As the men laughed alongside co-host Holly Willoughby, Rylan added: "Literally I was standing there and I thought ‘this is the end, this is how it all finishes, one of them is going to end up out the window in the Thames'.
"What I love about Kim Woodburn is she has sparked so much online content from the second she has walked into the Big Brother house.
"We all know about the adulterer remix, love it, one of my favourites, but I’ve got a new favourite."

Rylan then introduced a new video by The Hook which features clips from the interview mixed with Destiny’s Child’s track Independent Women Part I.
Phillip declared the mix was "genius" before Rylan said he hoped it wasn't the last they had seen of Kim on TV.
Holly said: "Of course it won’t be."
Rylan then had an idea, saying: "Get her on here, I’m going to start a campaign, wouldn’t it be lovely to have her sat here."
As Phillip pulled a face, Holly asked what Rylan wanted Kim to do if she came back on the show.
She suggested: "When I’m on holiday should she fill in for me?" as Phil looked at her with horror.
Rylan replied: "I’d like her to get a little chair, and have it just next to the couch and have her sat there and when you’se are doing your interviews she can sit there and just go ‘don’t’ be stupid lovey’... you know just like pipe up.
"I want someone to pay her a lot of money just to come in and pipe up. Like she’s sitting watching the show but she’s with us."
With a look of mock panic on his face, Phil said: "Can we do that in a few weeks though? I’ve had enough for the time being."
As they laughed, Rylan replied: "We’ll start in the summer with Ruth and Eamonn."
Kim later defended her explosive outburst saying Phillip "pushed her buttons".
