RUTH Langsford is "angry" at Eamonn Holmes after discovering he's being consoled by a relationship counsellor following their split.
Eamonn, 64, previously addressed the separation on live TV when he thanked fans for supporting both himself and Ruth.
They had been in constant communication since going their separate ways, but relations have soured now that Eamonn has turned to an old friend to boost his spirits.
The Northern Irishman has been on outings with the woman, who he first met years ago, including to a safari park, and showered her with gifts.
And he has endorsed a charity linked to her work, helping to host a fund-raising event free of charge.
Eamonn has never mentioned her name on social media and it is understood Ruth, 64, was not aware of their liaisons until recently.

Sources said Eamonn treated the unnamed woman to a Beyonce concert, a Center Parcs visit last year and tickets to see his favourite team, Man United, at Old Trafford.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Ruth was obviously aware that her marriage was crumbling, but as details emerge, her upset has turned to anger.
“Eamonn’s friend is bowled over by being lavished with attention and kindness from him.”
The woman met Eamonn via Twitter after she commented on a post and it sparked a conversation.

Since then, particularly in the past 12 months, they are said to have become closer friends.
Pals said the woman’s counselling skills include coping with “feeling sad” and “separation and divorce”.
A source close to Eamonn said: “She works for a charity Eamonn is involved with from time to time.”
Publicly, at least, relations between Eamonn and Ruth had been civil after the split.
Last week Eamonn told viewers of his GB News show: "Before we move on, I would just like to thank people for their support for Ruth and I over the past few days.
“Your support, from both of us, is very much appreciated.”
While a source told us: "Eamonn and Ruth are still in contact, they speak every day. Although they've separated, they're still sharing their dog, Maggie, at the moment and of course they have their son, Jack."
However, Eamonn has already left the couple's Surrey mansion and there have been reports he was annoyed by Ruth's confirmation of the split, which left him "blindsided".
