Peter Andre reveals his sweet nickname for baby daughter as wife Emily shares rare glimpse of eight week old tot
Peter and Emily welcomed Arabella in April this year
PETER Andre left fans swooning after sharing his adorable nickname for his newborn daughter.
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker shared his wife Emily MacDonagh’s story where she lovingly cradled the little one.
The couple welcomed Arabella Rose Andrea in April, who they didn’t give an official name to until just two weeks before the legal deadline.
They’ve also decided to shorten her name to the sweet nickname of ‘Belle’.
In Emily’s video, she showed the back of Arabella as she enjoyed fresh air in the garden.
The tot wore a brightly-coloured baby romper covered in pretty feather illustrations.
“Little Belle watching the kids play water balloons,” Emily wrote on the story with a red love heart emoji.
Peter, 51, and Emily, 34, also share children Amelia, 10, Theo, seven.
Pete also shares Princess, 16, and Junior, 18 with his ex-wife Katie Price.
Peter and Emily had trouble deciding on a name after welcoming Arabella, and even asked fans for their suggestions.
The singer wrote about their predicament in his OK! Magazine column last month.
“Emily has been making an amazing recovery since the birth… but as I write this we still don’t have a name!
“We were in the exact same situation when we had Millie. We went round in circles for weeks, but it’s not until you meet a baby that you truly know their name,” he added.
“We don’t have long now until we need to register her, so the clock is ticking. I loved Olivia, Charlotte and Athena, but Emily didn’t get too excited about those, so they’re off the table. It’s a big decision!”
Once they finally decided on one, Emily revealed their decision on Instagram.
“It’s taken a while but after lots of deliberation we’ve finally decided. Arabella Rose Andréa,” she wrote.
The name is a lovely tribute to Pete’s mum, Thea Andrea, 88, who has been unwell in recent months.
This comes as Peter has landed a new acting role in an upcoming TV series.
The dad-of-five is set to jet off next month to shoot scenes for a new Channel 5 drama, The Sun exclusively revealed.
An insider said: “Pete will fly out to Cyprus in June to start filming his latest role.
“It’s a gritty Channel 5 thriller and he’s really excited to get to work on it.
“Pete’s been working hard on his acting career and he’s got a lot more projects coming up.”
Earlier this month the trailer dropped for Pete’s first film role in movie Bullet, in which he plays a character called Flux.
In the teaser clip Pete’s character can be seen squaring up to a thug in an abandoned boxing gym.
Both men are back by heavies, suggesting they could be crime bosses.
