Who is Melody Thornton dating?

Melody is currently single – and has been for more than a decade.

During an interview with The Sun, she said her sexy image means she has not had a boyfriend for 13 years.

“I think maybe I look like the kind of girl you do one thing with and not anything else,” she said.

“I’ve been single now for 13 years and that’s embarrassing to say, actually.

“I’ve been through the ringer with American men. Guys don’t approach me.

“If you know me, you’re speaking to me, but if you’re just looking at me, you’re thinking, ‘That’s the girl you have sex with only’. You have to tell me you love me, I need to know you love me.

“Just because I was your fantasy poster on the wall doesn’t mean I’m going to slut drop and sleep with you after the first date.”

When did Melody Thornton join the Pussycat Dolls, and why did she quit?

Melody wasn’t part of the original Pussycat Dolls, who started as a burlesque dance revue in Los Angeles.

She auditioned to join the group after she saw the Pussycat Dolls on MTV Diaries featuring Christina Aguilera and heard they were looking for a new member.

The singer was recruited in 2003 with the nickname “Baby Doll” because she was the youngest group member.

The group achieved worldwide success thanks to their numerous hits and award nominations.

Melody was the only member to have contributed vocals apart from Nicole Sherzinger on the group’s second studio album.

She left the group in 2010 to focus on her solo career and mentioned being disappointed by not getting to sing as much as she was promised in the group.

Does Melody Thornton still talk to Nicole Scherzinger?

Well, when she quit the Pussycat Dolls, it wasn’t exactly on the best terms.

And when she was recently asked about reuniting with Nicole and the other girls by The Sun, she hinted that she isn’t keen.

She said: “I think it would be great for everyone to enjoy themselves and their lives, and whatever direction it is they want to go.

“For me, I’ve spent years developing music and funding it myself. I would really like to get music out on my own as a creative person.”

Make of that what you will.

Her vocals featured on LL Cool J’s 2013 album Authentic, and she modelled in a 2014 ad for Dior.
