WILL Smith stars in the first trailer for the TV series of James Corden's Carpool Karaoke... and he looks like a dream passenger.
The actor/rapper/legend, 48, is one of several big names who feature in a minute-long teaser trailer for the extended version of the Gavin and Stacey star's popular Late Late Show segment.
At the start, James, 38, can be seen turning to Will to ask, "Do you mind if we listen to some music?"
But this time, it's not only James, 38, who is behind the wheel, although he does appear in the episode with Will Smith.
The next scene in the teaser shows WWE star John Cena being driven by basketball star Shaquille O'Neal.
Other snippets in the clip show rock legends Metallica crammed in to a vehicle singing along to one of their own tracks.
There's also a scene showing a more harmonious sound from Alicia Keys and John Legend, while Ariana Grande munches on a takeaway as Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane mucks around on a French horn.
James was forced to call in 'designated drivers' as his schedule won't allow him to ferry around and croon along with all the stellar guests himself.
Speaking about the new drivers, the dad-of-two said: “I don’t feel like it’s mine, really.
“I just feel like it’s something I’ve been a part of, and now other people can share it.”
It was reported that the show will also differ from The Late Late Show segments in that it will feature interviews and exchanges outside of the car and include celebrities from all realms of entertainment.
The show's executive producer Ben Winston said: "We get so many calls from movie stars and other people who want to do Carpool Karaoke but it doesn’t work because on the show it’s about massively selling recording artists.
“We wouldn’t do Will Smith on our show.”
