Matt Damon reveals he’s ‘decidedly unromantic’ and getting gushy doesn’t come naturally in Valentine’s chat on Good Morning Britain
The award-winning actor has been married to Luciana Barroso for 11 years.
ONE role actor Matt Damon can't quite manage to play is that of the effortlessly romantic hunk.
The Hollywood star has confessed he feels "decidedly unromantic" and the Valentine's Day spirit fails to sweep him off his feet on the big day.
In a chat with Good Morning Britain on Tuesday he revealed: "(Being romantic) doesn't come naturally to me.
"I will do romantic things, but not to a time table.
"So it's not like 'it's Valentine's Day, I nailed it with flowers and chocolates' - I do things as they occur to me.
"Which, I think, is undecidedly romantic."
Good Will Hunting star Matt has been married to wife and mum-of-three Luciana Barroso for 11 years.
They are proud parents to three girls while Matt is step-dad to Luciana's daughter, Alexia, from a previous marriage.

Meanwhile Matt recently revealed he was full of emotion when he learned his pal George Clooney was expecting twins with his wife Amal.
But although he was instantly ‘thrilled’ for his friend, Matt was also quick to scold George for letting slip the secret so soon, as Amal was only eight-weeks gone at the time.
Matt, 46, said 55-year-old George told him about the pregnancy back in the autumn and he was quick to warn him about the “12-week rule”.
Appearing on Entertainment Tonight, Matt said: “I’m like, ‘Are you out of your mind?
“Don’t tell anybody else, don’t tell anybody else, I mean, don’t you know the 12-week rule?’ Of course he doesn’t.
“Then four weeks later, ‘I’m like, ‘We’re good right, we’re good,’ so I’m thrilled for him.”
Matt added: “They’re going to be awesome parents, those kids are lucky.”
George and Amal’s double baby news was confirmed by Julie Chen, presenter of US daytime show The Talk.
She revealed: “Beyoncé is not the only superstar expecting twins.
“Congratulations are in order for George and Amal Clooney."
