Jonathan Cheban reveals the incredible list of perks he’d have in store for a potential girlfriend, and how he’s searching for ‘The One’ on Celebs Go Dating
KIM Kardashian's best friend Jonathan Cheban is on the hunt for love as he stars in the next series of Celebs Go Dating, and his future British girlfriend can expect a HUGE list of perks.
The 42-year-old star has been living in the UK to film the new dating show, and while he searches for 'The One', he's given a rare insight into his lavish lifestyle.
The star is newly single after splitting from ex Anat Popovsky last year, and he's exclusively revealed to The Sun Online that he's been struggling to settle down following a string of failed dates with British girls.
The extravagant star is prepared to treat the lucky lady to a date to remember however, and said: “I’ll say [to the girl] ‘let’s get McDonald’s’, next thing I know we’re 50 miles away eating at some crazy restaurant that has the best doughnut in the world.”
Now that Jonathan is living temporarily in London, he hasn't let the move affect his lifestyle.
"I do eat out every single night and I’m on vacation here, so I do rack up the bills. But that’s how I live at home and that’s how I always live and I work very hard for it.
“I’m accustomed to this lifestyle, I’m accustomed to certain shades, pillows, cars, but when I’m in the UK it doesn’t mean I have to change it. My dates don’t need to suffer for it. At home they’re getting silk sheets.
“I like silk sheets for sure. I like when someone puts an iron down because when it’s not ironed it feels bad on your body.”
Asked if he can tell if the sheets are wrinkled, Jonathan joked: “Yes, I go into a rash immediately.
“They once put pillows down in a hotel that weren’t goose, I had to go to the doctor after, my neck was like sideways. You need goose, I don’t know how people are sleeping on cotton.”
He went on: “I like candles that smell like a fire place, so it smells like a fire burning in winter.”

Kim's BFF isn't put off when girls appear intimidated by his fame however - in fact, he prefers it.
“Some girls act like they’re not [intimidated] and those are the ones I hate. I love when people are honest about it.”
But it's not proving an easy search for love, as Jonathan travels so often.
He explained: “Even when I’m home, I’m in New York for seven days, I go and film in LA for 10 days, I fly to Miami for a week then have an appearance, I’m here for two months, it’s very hard. That’s why I’m not married.”
“I’ve been dating lots of different girls from lots of different parts of the UK," he added.
"Half of them I don’t understand, half of them don’t understand me, a quarter of them don’t know where New York is which is already weird for me, some of them don’t know how to use chopsticks, the whole thing is a disaster.”
Jonathan admitted he’s been on dates and not understood what they’re saying, before adding: “Then there’s types that are quite slutty… I don’t know where they’re from, maybe Essex.
“I don’t understand what’s going on, I don’t know who’s who.”
But he explained: "There was a girl I met the other day who lives here, Monaco and New York, I relate to her… A lot of people don’t get it. I worked very hard for my lifestyle, I wasn’t born into it, I’m not a snob, I really work my a*** off, and I need someone that I can relate to.”
