Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell reunite in secret for the first time since epic paternity bust-up as pals predict their truce could lead to more romance
Jeremy dashed to the North West to be with his baby and ex-girlfriend this weekend
STEPHANIE Davis and Jeremy McConnell have been reunited for the first time since their bitter feud, holding a secret get-together after the Irish model flew to Liverpool.
Jeremy made the unexpected trip to the North West this weekend and dashed to be with his baby and ex-girlfriend in a meeting that sources close to the warring couple say went “extremely well.”
A source said: “Jeremy spent the weekend in Liverpool and finally got to meet his son for the first time – and spent some time with Steph too.
“It was an emotional reunion between him and Stephanie but close pals were glad to see the pair finally putting their past behind him.
“Caben is well and truly their priority now – nothing else matters other than the health and happiness of the baby.”
Their long running feud came to an end last week when the one time lovers held peace talks, which led to Jeremy’s visit to Liverpool.
The Sun’s Bizarre column revealed the pair were willing to put their differences aside after Jeremy confirmed he is the father of Stephanie’s son.
A source said: “Stephanie and Jeremy are back on speaking terms.
“They’re trying to rebuild a civilised relationship for the sake of Caben – they both knew that the situation had to change for things to move forward.
“It’s going to be a slow process but they’re gradually heading in the right direction.”
But close pals of the pair believe their truce could lead to further romance and that Jeremy visiting Steph in Liverpool could be the start of much more.
A source said: “There has always been a spark there even if it did end badly the first time round.
“They have a child together now – everything’s changed.”
The first sign of a reunion came when Jeremy shared a photo of Caben on Twitter captioning the image “I’ll love this monkey with every bit of me.”
Stephanie reciprocated by following her ex-boyfriend back on Twitter and Instagram.
He said: “I want to potentially be a loving father to this child. I am ready; it is about the child now.
“I have been ever present. People can believe what they want, social media – all these trolls can say what they want.
“It is only about the baby, the baby will be the one to get my affection and love.
“I loved Steph but a woman scorned is pretty dangerous.”
