'I'VE NOT SEEN MY SISTER FOR EIGHT YEARS!'

Mel B’s sister Danielle Brown slams reconciliation rumours and hits out at singer for letting ‘controlling’ husband Stephen Belafonte ban grandparents from seeing her kids

Mel’s sister has savaged the former Spice Girl's husband Stephen in a series of tweets

MEL B’s sister Danielle Brown has slammed talk of a reconciliation with her estranged famous sister and claims Mel's husband Stephen Belafonte has stopped their parents from seeing their three grandchildren.

In January Mel was said to have reached out to her mum, Andrea, dad Martin and sister Danielle after eight years apart.

The 41-year-old had even invited them to her family home in Los Angeles which she shares with Stephen, their daughter Madison, five, nine-year-old Angel, from Mel’s relationship with Eddie Murphy, and 17-year-old Pheonix – whose dad is Jimmy Gulzar.

However Danielle claims she hasn’t spoken to her sister in over eight years, after a family rift over her family’s dislike of Stephen.

Logging onto her Twitter account, Danielle raged: “#livingthereallife sorry not been on here much so
much family dramas ???? #storyofmylife #fedup #bollox #s*dit #couldntwriteit.

“Just 2 put the record strait! Ive Not seen my sister for 8 years, there is no family reunion planned, it is what it is.

“Hate talking bout family stuff on social media but also hate reading cr*p lies and random people asking me nonsense #settingtherecordstrait.”

When one of Danielle’s followers tried to encourage the reconciliation, Danielle couldn’t hide her disdain for Stephen and alleged that he had taken Mel and the children away from their family.

The fan tweeted: “You have both missed out so much on each other's lives…all so stupid and public.”

Danielle later replied: “Tell me bout it, I will never ever take my children away from there grandparents or family and no man can ever dictate what I do.”

She then went on to thank her “strong mum” and her friends for helping her through the difficult times.

Mel’s mum Andrea has previously spoken of her devastation at her oldest child’s actions and begged Mel to come back into their lives.

She said in 2012: “Half of my family is missing to me. Every day I pine for Mel, Phoenix and Angel.”

Danielle once wrote to her sister on Twitter: ‘Enough is Enough we need a PRIVATE family meeting.you me mum and dad No Film crew no cameras and NO STEPHEN,R THE KIDS SAFE?’

Following Mel’s controversial hospitalisation during the 2014 final of X Factor when it was alleged the couple were on the rocks, Andrea tweeted about the stress she had endured, writing: “Little good news 4 me lost half a stone in 1 week+ will never suffer a vile abusive 3am call from stephan Belafonti again!!”

“On average It takes 30 beatings 4 a woman to leave abusive man how sad more should b done 4 these victims!!”

Stephen and Mel have both vehemently denied he was ever abusive to her.
