ACTOR Bill Cobbs has died at the age of 90.

The film star was best known for his roles in The Bodyguard, Night At The Museum, and New Jack City.

Thomas G. Cobbs, Bill’s brother, who is also a pastor, confirmed the on Facebook, “On Tuesday, June 25, Bill passed away peacefully at his home in California.

“A beloved partner, big brother, uncle, surrogate parent, godfather and friend, Bill recently and happily celebrated his 90th birthday surrounded by cherished loved ones.

“As a family we are comforted knowing Bill has found peace and eternal rest with his Heavenly Father.

“We ask for your prayers and encouragement during this time.”

According to , the cause of Bill’s death remains unclear.

Earlier this month, Bethany Cobbs, Bill’s niece, shared an adorable of the actor with his family to celebrate his birthday.

The star was all smiles as he sat comfortably in a soft brown chair.

‘HE WAS IN EVERYTHING!’

On X, formerly Twitter, fans sent well wishes to the actor’s family.

“Never knew his name, he was in EVERYTHING, RIP,” one wrote.

Another said, “Mr. Bill Cobbs was an extraordinary talent, an absolute legend and a gentleman. He leaves an indelible mark on TV, film and stage. May he rest in eternal power.”
