Kate Wright is NOT quitting Towie for a role on I’m a Celebrity as romance with Rio Ferdinand continues to heat up
The reality star hit back at claims she's preparing to leave the ITVBe show behind for a role in the jungle
KATE Wright has slammed claims she's planning to quit Towie for a role on I'm a Celebrity, as her romance with Rio Ferdinand continues to heat up.
The reality star has been getting close to former Manchester United captain Rio recently, the Sun exclusively revealed previously, but she's keeping the ITVBe show one of her main priorities it seems.
Kate has been forced to hit back at claims she is hoping to quit the show later this year for a stab at success in the jungle.
A source claimed to the : "Kate really hasn’t been happy for some time. She had a row with one of the bosses and has a prickly relationship with some of the other girls in the cast."
They added: "She knows casting for I’m A Celebrity begins in the spring and she’s knows if she gets picked she could leave TOWIE."
The source even claimed Kate hoped leaving the reality show could improve the chances of her romance with Rio becoming "serious".
However the stunner's agent laughed off the claims, insisting they are "rubbish", and added: "Whilst Kate is a fan of I'm a celebrity, she loves Towie and has a great relationship with the show so has no plans to leave right now."
Meanwhile the beauty recently enjoyed a luxury break in Dubai where she’s thought to have first met Rio.
Since then the pair have been getting close in secret but are determined to keep their new relationship away from the spotlight.
The beauty has been single following her split from on/off boyfriend Dan, which has been a constant storyline in the reality series.
Kate's reps declined to comment on claims she is dating Rio Ferdinand.
