Meanwhile, Mel recently opened up about Victoria joining her on stage in the Maldives for a duet.
Mel, 43, had no idea the mum-of-four would take her up on her offer to duet on stage at the exclusive gig but she was overcome with emotion when she did.
In an exclusive interview with , Mel said of their duet: “I was asked to perform at a resort in the Maldives and it was where Victoria was going on holiday.
“I got there a few days before New Year and Victoria and I had a bit of dinner and I was saying to her, ‘I’m doing a Spice Girls song and I expect you to get up.’
“She’s deadpan and very funny, so she was like, ‘Yeah, of course.’
“I thought, ‘There’s no way she’s going to get up.’
“But when it got to the point in the set where I was going to do Two Become One I said to her, ‘It’s your last chance.’
“And the next thing I know she’s up there.”
