Britney Spears tells fans she feels ‘lucky’… a DECADE after breakdown which saw her shave her head
The Toxic singer had a very public meltdown in 2007 but has managed to get her life back on track
BRITNEY Spears feels "lucky" - a decade after she famously shaved her head in the midst of a personal breakdown.
The Toxic singer shocked the world in February 2007 when she took a razor to her long hair and left a hair salon in the middle of the night with a bald head.
But a decade on, Britney is back at her best, performing in her hit Las Vegas show at Planet Hollywood and enjoying time at home with her two sons, Sean and Jayden.
And looking back at her time as a mum, Britney shared a throwback picture to 2010 to highlight how happy she was that her life is back on track and she's in a good place.
Posting a picture of her carrying one of her boys, she wrote: "Found this today and realized I'm a very blessed and lucky mommy #tbt".
Back in February 2007, Britney - then 25 - walked into a hair salon in Tarzana, California, and asked the stylist to cut off her long brown hair.
Owner Esther Tognozzi refused so the singer grabbed a pair of clippers and did it herself as the cameras snapped away outside.

Her bizarre behaviour happened in the midst of her bitter custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline, but a decade on, the former couple are on friendly terms and have found a way to co-parent their two sons in harmony.
Britney has also snapped back into shape after a period of having her weight go up and down as she battled her demons, but has recently been parading her famously flat stomach and toned thighs for all to see, proving once and for all that the singer is, to quote one of her hits, Stronger than ever.
Britney's post came just days after Katy Perry appeared to make a dig at her on the Grammys red carpet.
The singer was speaking about her new blonde hairstyle when she made the comments, which led to an angry backlash from fans of the Piece of Me star.
"It's the last colour in the spectrum that I can do, I've done all of them and the only thing left to do is shave my head which I'm really saving for a public breakdown. I'm down for that."
In another interview she was speaking to Ryan Seacrest when he mentioned that there was a "pause in [her] music".
She responded: "Yeah, that's called taking care of your mental health."
He asked how that went and she replied: "Fantastic, and I haven't shaved my head yet."
Her comments prompted a Twitter frenzy and "Britney" to trend alongside the Grammys as fans aired their rage.
One tweeted: "Ironic how yalls woke queen Katy Perry screams "no hate" an hour after making fun of Britney's mental stability on the red carpet."
Another ranted: "I don't care who you are, you never make fun of mental health and Britney Spears' breakdown. What an a****** comment, Katy Perry."
