Glastonbury fans ABANDON SZA’s set after England match with video showing hardly anyone in crowd for Sunday headliner

GLASTONBURY fans abandoned Sunday headliner SZA last night to watch England play in the Euros.
Images showed swathes of empty spaces around the Pyramid stage as the American superstar made her debut.
R&B singer-songwriter SZA had performed for 65,000 at BST Hyde Park on Saturday night before racing to Somerset to take on Glastonbury’s iconic slot.
One onlooker told us throngs of festival goers hotfooted it before SZA made it on stage at 9.30pm and never returned.
Our mole said: “I was gutted for her. There were massive patches of empty grass around the stage and she must have seen it, and further back before and during the gig.
“It was shocking really. Compared to last year when people were shoulder to shoulder for Sir Elton John.
“Kendrick Lamar headlined in the same slot the year before and it was rammed then too.”
England scraped through to the Euros quarter final last night.
Gareth Southgate‘s side had appeared to be heading out of Euro 2024 – but Jude Bellingham scored a stunning 95th-minute overhead kick to draw level, sending the game into extra time.
Captain Harry Kane then scored less than a minute after the restart.
Glastonbury fans meanwhile have been moaning about sound issues over the weekend.
They took to social media to blast organisers for what they claimed was “tough” sound ‘issues during Shania Twain’s set on Sunday afternoon and Dua Lipa on Friday night.
The Sun on Sunday revealed Dua had suffered some bad luck due to a sound delay as part of the BBC’s broadcast of the coverage on some services.
The One Kiss singer headlined the first night of the iconic festival, performing on the Pyramid Stage to a huge crowd.
Dua, 28, later hit back back at false Glastonbury ‘miming’ accusations with a defiant response.
