Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck ‘to FINALLY divorce two years after split’

BEN Affleck and Jennifer Garner have reportedly begun to take the steps necessary to end their marriage, two years after they announced their split.

The former Hollywood couple revealed they were calling time on their ten year marriage in June 2015, but new reports claim Jennifer is finally preparing to file for divorce.

A source told US Weekly Jennifer is gearing up to file the paperwork and stated:  "No matter what happens, Ben and Jen are committed to raising their family as one unit and will continue to do so as it has worked for them.

"They are both committed to their family."

It is also claimed that Ben has moved out of the family home in Pacific Palasades where the pair had chosen to share ever since their split so they could co-parent their children, Violet, 10, Seraphina, seven, and four-year-old Samuel.

Speaking to Ellen Degeneres, Ben said of their situation: “We’re good friends and we’re doing our best, and the kids are fabulous and we’re working on our best for them.”

Jennifer had been more candid about their relationship however and gave a moving insight into life with Ben in a tell-all interview with Vanity Fair in March.

She said: “I didn't marry the big fat movie star; I married him.

“I always say,’When his sun shines on you, you feel it.’“But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it's cold, he can cast quite a shadow.”

Just months after the pair announced the split, it was rumoured Ben had moved on and was dating the couple’s former nanny Christine Ouzounian, which he later denied.

Speaking about the gossip, Jen hit back:“We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny.

“She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce, she was not a part of the equation.”

The pair had been at the centre of reconciliation rumours after it was claimed Jennifer was considering giving Ben a second chance.
