‘Excited’ George Clooney speaks out on Amal’s pregnancy and reveals ‘it’s going to be an adventure’
GEORGE Clooney has finally spoken up about wife Amal's pregnancy, revealing his excitement at the birth of their twins.
Earlier this month US talkshow host Julie Chen revealed that the A-list couple would be having twins, which was later confirmed by the actor's mum.
Until now, the 55-year-old actor was yet to confirm the news himself, but when asked about the pregnancy during an interview on the French program he couldn't help gushing about the news.
He revealed: "We are really happy and really excited. It's going to be an adventure."
George then said that they had "sort of embraced it all" with "arms wide open".

The actor also spoke about how his friends reacted when he told them the good news: "It got really quiet and they all just started making baby crying noises, and the whole table just busted up laughing."
He said that his pals did joke about his age, but said that he looks to other actors who have had their children at a later age like Jean-Paul Belmondo, who had a baby with his second wife at the age of 70 in 2003.
He joked: "So, I'm feeling a little better about being 56 by the time [the twins come]."
Last month his mum Nina Clooney revealed that her son and Amal were expecting a boy and a girl.
Former local government worker Nina, 77, shared the news with , saying: “It will be one of each! Yes, a boy and a girl. That’s what I’ve been told.”
She added: “How marvelous! My husband and I are extremely excited.”
