Madonna’s son David Banda, 18, flogs online guitar lessons for £155 – despite mum’s £650m fortune
He has launched the venture to make money after his superstar mum completed her Celebration Tour
MADONNA’s teenage son is working as a guitar teacher, charging £155 per lesson.
David Banda, 18, is working six days a week with his 60 minute one-on-one classes on Zoom.
He has launched the venture to make money after his superstar mum, who is worth £650m, completed her Celebration Tour.
The youngster had joined her on stage every night as a guitarist and dancer.
In a post about his sessions, David said: “Welcome to my online guitar class where everyone, from beginners navigating their first chords to experienced musicians honing their craft, gather for a fun-filled jam session!”
He launched his classes this week and is planning to teach until at least mid-September.
But fledgling musicians will have to hand over £775 before even playing a note, as he insists people book a minimum of five lessons.
In a description of what he offers, he urges customers to wear their nightwear for their classes and insists mistakes are encouraged.
He wrote: “Grab your guitar (pyjamas optional but recommended), and join me as we explore the wonderful world of chords, scales and everything in between.
“Mistakes? They’re just unexpected solos! So let’s strum, hum, and strum some more in this virtual musical journey where all levels are welcome and fun is the name of the game.”
David previously tried to make it as a footballer and Madonna moved her family to Lisbon in 2017 after he joined the Benfica youth academy.
But they relocated back to the US after he decided he wanted to focus on music.
