Towie’s Abi Clarke reveals she went through ‘six months of hell’ after having fillers in her lips that split her mouth open
The 24-year-old revealed how the procedure hardened her pout after her body reacted badly to the injections
EX-TOWIE star Abi Clarke has opened up about a botched lip filler procedure that left her in 'six months of hell'.
The 24-year-old star decided to get the lip injections in 2015 in a bid to get the perfect pout.
However, once the procedure was done, her body suffered a reaction that left her lip SPLITTING OPEN as the filler went hard and expanded.
Speaking to Closer, she said: "I went back to the clinic and they pic more filler in to try to even it out, which just made it worse.
"I went through six months of hell trying to get it removed at a different clinic and it was agony."
Eventually, Abi was able to bring her lips back to a more normal size.
Since then, the reality star has vowed to NOT give up the beauty treatments and plastic surgery procedures - including more lip fillers after finding a new doctor and liquid that she didn't react to.
She said: "Some people might think I'm crazy, but I had a tiny bit of filler put back in last month - I didn't want to be frightened of having more work done."

She previously opened up about the botched lip job to The Sun, and allowed cameras to come back with her to film the procedure as she got the injections again.
Speaking on camera at the time, Abi said: "I feel like I've got to fight a fear. I went through quite a lot of trauma about a year and a half ago.
"I got it done at Harley Street, you'd think being in Harley Street they'd know what they were doing and would be qualified.
"It went kind of massive, split my lip in the middle...gaping apart, it just looked so awful."
As well as cosmetic procedures, Abi's been open about working hard to transform her figure after admitting she struggled with yo-yo dieting for years.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Abi continued: “It is hard being scrutinised because there’s a lot of pressure.
“And people will speak about you regardless, even when you think you look nice. You have to have thick skin.
“But it does motivate me to carry on and think ‘I’m just gonna do me and be the best that I can be’. You have to ignore the haters.
“I don't want to say people only do it for the paid publicity, but I just think it's really sad seeing girls having to put on weight only to have to lose it.”
Last year Abi teamed up with personal trainer Sara Galoni to get the body of her dreams and now is determined to keep her “toned and fit” physique.
