Watch as Jade Thirlwall takes HUGE swipe at Simon Cowell in debut solo single
JADE Thirlwall has dropped her first solo single and it makes a HUGE dig a music mogul Simon Cowell.
The Little Mix star, 31, prepares to dive into her solo career after the band announced their hiatus in 2021.
Her new song Angel Of My Dreams is a conceptual story of rags-to-riches, which sees Jade reflecting on her journey to stardom.
It features the telling line: "Care if I cry, care if I die, you only care about money.
"Selling my soul to a psycho (like Syco), they say I’m so lucky."
There's also a moment where Jade pricks her finger and signs a contract in blood before placing a wedding ring on - a symbolic nod to how binding industry contracts can be.

When Little Mix left Simon Cowell's management in 2018, things were unclear as they switched to new management in the middle of their LM5 release.
It comes after Jade claimed Cowell's record label 'f****d Little Mix over.
During the making of their LM5 album in 2018, the band had to switch labels to RCA after a fallout with The X Factor judge’s Syco.
Asked why fans didn’t see much female empowerment in their music videos, Jade added: “We did a little bit but we had a switch of labels during the LM5 process and that really f***ed us over.
"It was harder to put all our creativity out there in the way we would have liked.
“The LM5 album was very heavily on women’s rights and our experiences in the industry.”
Jade was thrust into the limelight following her success in Little Mix - a band formed by Simon Cowell on the X Factor in 2011.
The girl band was originally made up of Jade, Perrie Edwards, 30, Leigh-Anne, 32, and Jesy Nelson, 33.
Jesy left the band after struggling with her mental health and the pressures of fame.
Just over 10 years after forming, the girls announced their hiatus to focus on their solo careers and families.
Jade has since collaborated with MNEK, Cirkut, Lostboy, RAYE, Lauren Aquilina and Dave Hamelin.
All the Little Mix singers have branched out to release solo music.
