Cat Deeley is up for an SM:TV 20th anniversary reunion days after Ant and Dec revealed someone had approached them about one off show
TV presenter would be happy to reunite with the Geordie duo but is awaiting an official invite
CAT Deeley thinks an SM:tv reunion with Ant and Dec would be a "great idea".
The presenter hosted the hit show with the Geordie duo from 1998 until 2003 and with the 20th Anniversary coming up, Cat is just as keen as her former co-stars to celebrate it.
She told the Press Association: "I think it would be a great idea. It's been 20 years. I think it's about time, isn't it, for all those with a misspent youth?
"It was normally the Friday night that was the misspent youth and they woke up on the Saturday morning, slightly hungover."
The 40-year-old's comments came after Ant and Dec revealed earlier this week they had been approached about doing a one-off special.
Speaking to the Ant said: “We were talking to somebody about this recently because it’s twenty years since the launch of SM:tv next year.
“So, we were saying whether we could do an anniversary special or something, and we got carried away with the idea.

He continued: “If we did it a one off, it would be on at 9.25am, with C.H.U.M.S and all that, and get Cat back!”
Dec added: "We're floating it about a few people at the moment, and were getting some positives responses so far."
While Cat has indeed made a name for herself across the pond, she would be happy to jet back over to reunite with the pair, but she said: "I haven't been cordially invited yet.
"I've seen them. That's all I can say.
"But it would be great and really fun. If we can all get back together at the same time, at the same place, let's recreate the magic."
Meanwhile her husband, comedian Patrick Kielty added: "She's being very cagey. Her people have been speaking to theirs, is that what they say over here?"
