When does Victoria series two start on ITV?
The eighth and final episode of the new series airs tonight (Sunday, October 15) at 9.00pm on ITV. It will be competing against The Last Post on BBC One, Louis Theroux: Dark States on BBC Two and Electric Dreams on Channel 4.
ITV’s hit TV show Victoria follows the life of Queen Victoria.
It is a British drama that was created by Daisy Goodwin and stars Jenna Coleman as Victoria and Tom Hughes as Prince Albert.

What happened in series one of Victoria?
The ITV drama’s first series explored the early years of Queen Victoria’s reign following her accession to the throne aged just 18.
Towards the end of the series viewers saw Victoria’s courtship with Prince Albert, with the pair eventually marrying.
In the final episode Victoria gave birth to her and Albert’s first child.
The second series is set to pick up six weeks after the first series ended, with Queen Victoria adjusting to life as a new mother.
Picking up six weeks after the first series ended, the new season establishes Victoria as a working mother, learning to balance her responsibilities as both parent and Queen.
Being the first reigning monarch to marry and give birth while on the throne, viewers will be given an insight into how Victoria juggled the different parts of her life.
Meanwhile, Prince Albert is still struggling to find a role for himself alongside his powerful wife as she returns to her duties.
Are there any new characters in series two of Victoria?
The Sun revealed that legendary actress Dame Diana Rigg would be joining the cast.
The former Avengers and Game Of Thrones star will play the Duchess of Buccleuch, the young queen’s new Mistress of the Robes.
Like her Westerosi character Olenna Tyrell, this new role will be quite outspoken and help guide the monarch as she enters motherhood.
A source told us: “Diana Rigg is a fantastic signing and will be brilliant in her role dishing out home truths to the young Victoria as starts married life.
“She gained a whole new generation of fans from Game Of Thrones who didn’t know her from when she was a star in the Sixties so is bound to be a hit.”
Who is Jenna Coleman?
Jenna was born on April 27, 1986.
She is a British actress who has had roles in Emmerdale and Doctor Who.
She also rose to prominence when she starred in Julian Fellowes’ Titanic.
Who is Tom Hughes?
Tom was born on April 18, 1986.
He is a British actor known for roles in Agatha Christie’s Marple and Ricky Gervais’ Cemetery Junction.
Tom also starred in ITV’s Trinity and Channel 4’s Derek.
Jenna and Tom are reportedly a couple in real-life, as well as on screen.
