James Argent unfollows ex-girlfriend Lydia Bright AND his Towie mates on Instagram after he checks into a Thai rehab centre to ‘beat his demons’
Reality star Arg is taking some time out and that appears to mean having social media detox
JAMES Argent has un-followed his ex-girlfriend Lydia and some of his former Towie co-stars on Instagram after checking into a Thai rehab centre.
The 29-year-old has cut contact with Lydia – despite the pretty blonde recently revealing the pair had been in touch again.
Lydia wasn’t alone in the social media cull, with Chris and Jonathan Clark also facing the chop from Arg’s Instagram account.
A representative for Arg has been contacted by The Sun Online for comment.
Arg’s purge comes just days after it was revealed he had flown to the Far East to “beat his demons”.
A source said: “Arg is in Thailand where he is trying to clean up his act.
“He wants to sort out his head and beat his demons once and for all.
“Being so far away from Essex and the bright lights is hopefully going to help him - acting as a kind of rehabilitation process.
“He is trying to make himself a better person and is doing some soul-searching.
“He wants to come back to the show stronger and is looking forward to doing so at some point in the future.
“Everyone just wants what is best for him.”

Arg has been open about his personal problems since checking into rehab for a month in 2015.
Just weeks previously, Lydia – who finally split with Arg in May 2016 – revealed how he had been in touch to give her some advice for her stint on reality show The Jump.
“But he told me go to out there and enjoy myself because it’s an amazing opportunity.
“When I came out to see him it spurred me on to want to do it.
“He told the skeleton is the most scary thing that I would ever do in my whole, entire life and I’ve got all that coming up.
“He said just go for it.”
