Who is Celebrity Bake Off star Blake Harrison?

BLAKE Harrison was the punchline of all the jokes as Neil in The Inbetweeners but he's come a long way since then.

Who is Blake Harrison?

Born on July 22, 1985, Blake Harrison is an English actor from Peckham.

He is best known for his role as nice but VERY dim Neil Sutherland in The Inbetweeners TV show and movie.

His character was relentlessly teased by Jay, Will and Simon in the sitcom but never quite realised.

Blake, 36, bagged the role at the start of his career, after starring in two episodes of The Bill.

What else has Blake appeared in?

Since appearing in the Inbetweeners, Blake has had various other TV roles in Way To Go, Him & Her, Big Bad World, The Bleak Old Shop Of Stuff, Edge Of Heaven and The Increasingly Poor Decisions Of Todd Margaret.

He also voiced Scoop in the reboot of Bob The Builder.

His film credits include Keeping Rosy, and the 2016 Dad's Army reboot, in which he played Private Pike, Ian Lavender's old character.

In 2017 he wowed viewers with his versatility again in telly crime drama Prime Suspect 1973, playing DS Spencer Gibbs.

He also appeared in Jodie Whittaker's BBC drama Trust Me.

Is Blake married and does he have any children?

In September 2015, Blake married his girlfriend of five years Kerry Ann Lunch, a theatre publicist.

The wedding took place in Mauritius and Blake's Inbetweeners co-stars were in attendance.

The pair live in Kent and have two children, a daughter and a son.
