Towie’s Gemma Collins reveals she is so desperate to become a mum she is going to freeze her eggs after admitting she was disappointed to discover she isn’t pregnant with famous pal

GEMMA Collins has revealed she is planning to freeze her eggs so she can eventually become a mum even if she doesn't find Mr Right.

The Only Way Is Essex star admits she is desperate to start a family, and doesn't want to miss out just because she doesn't have a man.

It comes after Gemma, 36, admitted she was disappointed not to have become pregnant following a one night stand with a famous pal.

The TV regular admitted she thought she was expecting and was left feeling blue after her period arrived.

She has now confirmed she is planning to freeze her eggs so she can start the family she has always dreamed of.

During an appearance on Loose Women today, she said: "I'm 36, I haven't met the love of my life...

"I feel so unfilled at 36 not having a child.

"Do I wait for a man or do what I have done and put my eggs on freeze and hope he comes along?

"And if not, I can have one anyway."

During the show, she revealed she thought she was pregnant after a one night stand with a friend - and hinted it was her Towie co-star James Argent.

Gemma, who did the interview from a car after getting stuck in traffic, made the confession in a new Towie clip.

The hosts played footage in which she revealed she had slept with "someone we all know" and thought she was pregnant afterwards.

She was later left disappointed when she got her period.

Gemma said: "I had a one night stand with someone we all know... I wasn't on the contraceptive pill...

"When my period came - I said it was a real shame."

The Loose Women hosts then quizzed her about the mystery man and she said: "It was someone I had a previous relationship with on the show."

Kaye Adams then went one step further and asked her whether it was Arg.

Gemma hinted she was right, saying: "Could be... could be."

The star also claimed the man slept with another woman just hours after he bedded her.

She told the Loose Women panel: "Three hours after he slept me with, he went on to sleep with someone else."

Gemma's confession comes after The Sun previously revealed the pair had enjoyed a romp during their time in Marbella.

We also revealed bedded ex-girlfriend Lydia Bright during the same holiday.

Gemma insisted fans will find out the full story on the new series of Towie, declaring: "You are going to find out who the dad potentially could have been...

"It would have been awkward cos I did know him."

She also declared that if she was pregnant, she would have kept the baby because she is desperate to become a mum, revealing doctors told her she only has a "40 per cent chance of conceiving".

Gemma previously revealed she fell pregnant and suffered a miscarriage at four and a half months back in 2012.

The 35-year-old spoke about her ordeal as part of the Channel 5 show In Therapy.
