Beyonce flaunts pregnancy to stop snipers after vile claims singer used surrogate mum for daughter Blue Ivy
Pop star was 'devastated' by rumours she didn't carry Blue herself — so she's shutting down gossip from the start
HEAVILY pregnant Beyonce delighted millions of fans last week when she showed off her growing baby bump in a skin-tight green dress.
The 35-year-old pop beauty, who is expecting twins, posted the snaps after appearing at a post-Oscars party.
They came just weeks after Bey — who unveiled her pregnancy with a naked photoshoot — stripped down to a gold body suit to perform at the Grammy Awards.
But despite her happiness at becoming a mum again with husband Jay Z, sources revealed there is a secret anguish behind the superstar’s desire to flaunt her pregnancy.
They say the Lemonade singer was left heartbroken by rumours she did not carry daughter Blue Ivy, now five, instead using a surrogate mother.
And she is determined to stop the same rumours casting a shadow over this pregnancy — which came after two years of failed attempts.
One source said: “During her first pregnancy Beyonce was plagued by trolls who claimed she was not carrying the baby and that her bump wasn’t real.
"The claims first surfaced in 2011 after she was caught at an odd angle during an appearance on an Australian TV show.

"They have persisted ever since.
“Bey put on a brave face at the time, but she was privately devastated.
“The rumours were still swirling in 2014, which is why she released a photo of her with Jay, with him cuddling her and her bump years earlier.
“This time she is showing off her bump in the most obvious way, so no one can doubt she is carrying the twins herself.
“The shots of her in just a bra and knickers to announce her pregnancy were her idea, even though it was very out-there.
“Her sheer, sensual Grammys outfit was also her idea, and she has revamped her wardrobe with clothes that show off her new curves.
“She sees carrying a child as the ultimate celebration of womanhood and she won’t let anyone take that away from her with ridiculous gossip.
“This is her way of shutting down those rumours from the start.
"This pregnancy is all the more special to her because it’s an experience she never expected to have a second time.
“She and Jay had tried IVF unsuccessfully, and they had all but given up.
"So she feels incredibly blessed and wants to cherish this time. She won’t let anything tarnish it for her.”
Beyonce and rapper Jay Z’s joyful announcement in February of their second pregnancy came after a rough two years.
In 2014 their marriage was thrown under the microscope after security footage taken in a lift showed Bey standing by while her sister Solange attacked her husband.
Bey is believed to have finally intervened to stop the fight spilling out into a public area.
Two years later, a track on her sixth solo album, Lemonade, sparked speculation that Jay had cheated on her.
Instead of hiding away and letting people talk, she let her body do all the talking for her
The song, Sorry, featured the lyric: “He only want me when I’m not there, he better call Becky with the good hair.”
A hunt then began for “Becky” — with Rita Ora and fashion designer Rachel Roy publicly denying they had inspired the song.
As the controversy raged, the pair in the middle of it all remained silent.
The source explained that privately they were patching up their problems and beginning to talk about having a brother or sister for Blue Ivy.
But they had a two-year battle to get their wish. The source went on: “Beyonce went through hell after that CCTV footage emerged.
“At that point, so many haters were coming out of the woodwork to claim Jay Z had cheated and she was truly hurt. She really was at her lowest.
“She later poured all of those feelings into Lemonade.
“But after the dust had settled they decided they really wanted to fix their marriage and began quietly talking about having their second baby.
“They love being parents to Blue and wanted to add to their family.
“But after they tried for two years without any success they felt the time was right to investigate other options, like adoption and surrogates.
“So when Bey finally fell pregnant last year they were both over the moon — and she said straight away she was determined to avoid more vicious rumours.
“That’s why she struck first with the bump-baring pictures.
“She was basically putting up her middle finger.
"Instead of hiding away and letting people talk, she let her body do all the talking for her.
“Her Grammys performance also sent out a message that she is proud of being a mum-to-be and isn’t afraid to flaunt it on stage.
"She wanted to show the world she isn’t a fake.”
The Drunk in Love singer’s show-stopping performance was certainly a high point of the Grammys.
Bey — who wore a sequined body suit and goddess-style headdress — was introduced by her mum Tina, then sang a medley from Lemonade.
And as photos of Blue Ivy played above her, she was seen tenderly cradling her bump.
She was also brought on stage when Adele dedicated her Best Album win to her, calling Lemonade “the album of my life” and breaking the trophy in two as if to share it with her.
Sources revealed the pair developed a close friendship after Bey agreed to delay her album’s release to make way for Adele’s comeback in 2015.
They said: “Bey did it out of sheer respect for Adele, and they have grown closer to each other since.
Out of everything I’ve accomplished, my proudest moment was when I gave birth to Blue
"There are very few industry people she feels she can become friends with, but she has a soft spot for Adele.
"It helps they are both young mothers.
"They now plan to meet up with the kids when they have time.
“There’s been talk in their camps of them working together in the future — it’s definitely not ruled out.
“But for now they are both focused on their families.”
Speaking after Blue was born in 2012, Beyonce opened up about how being a mother was more important to her than anything in her life.
She told Vogue mag: “I feel like Mrs Carter is who I am, but more bold and more fearless than I’ve ever been.
“It comes from knowing my purpose and really meeting myself once I saw my child. I was like, ‘OK, this is what you were born to do’.
“The purpose of my body became completely different, the way I view it. There’s a sensuality and an audacity that I’m OK with sharing.
“And I’m not uncomfortable about it. I’m not shy about it. I feel it’s important for women not to lose that sense of sensuality.”
Last year, in another interview, she said her career achievements pale next to her pride in being a mother.
She said: “Out of everything I’ve accomplished, my proudest moment, hands down, was when I gave birth to Blue.”
