MARIAH Carey never tried to contact her older sister in her final days - even after she was told a month ago that she was dying, according to a close pal.

Within the same day, the Grammy winner lost both her sister Alison, and her mother Patricia Carey.

While Mariah, 55, said she was "heartbroken" by the news, Alison’s longtime friend and care David Baker has alleged she never made any effort to reach out to her sister, even in her dying days.

He said Alison spoke often in her last days about being abandoned by Mariah - even asking whether she'd attend her funeral.

David told The U.S. Sun exclusively, "Alison was unhappy that her 'baby sister' had cut off contact with her.

"She talked about it frequently. She wondered if Mariah or any of her relatives would come to her funeral.

"I am told that a memorial service is planned for a future date, but nothing now."

David continued, "No, Mariah has never tried to contact Alison, even after she was told a month ago that Alison was dying.

"A phone call or, better still, a video call would have meant so much to Alison. But it never came.

"And now Mariah is 'heartbroken' by the loss of her mother and her 'ex' sister.

"That callous rejection added more hurt to Alison's pain."

David was one of Alison's only friends for the past nine years and tried to support her as she dealt with drug addiction, homelessness, and health issues, including being HIV positive.

He revealed she had been receiving home hospice care for the past three weeks after developing problems with her internal organs.

In a touching tribute shared with The U.S. Sun, Alison's pal said, "Beneath a tough exterior, Alison was a highly intelligent, warm, and sensitive person."

"I have known her for nine years, and as her friend, and in recent months her care, I will miss her greatly."

Alison had previously spoken to The Sun about her traumatic childhood in which she claimed she was taken to terrifying "Satanic" ceremonies by a close family member and sexually abused.

Mariah Carey's heartbreaking statement

On August 26, 2024, Mariah Carey revealed to People that her mom Patricia and sister Alison died on the same day.

"My heart is broken that I’ve lost my mother this past weekend," she started.

"Sadly, in a tragic turn of events, my sister lost her life on the same day.

";I feel blessed that I was able to spend the last week with my mom before she passed."

"I appreciate everyone’s love and support and respect for my privacy during this impossible time," she concluded.

"It sounds hard to believe, and I have so many memories I wish I never had," she said during the interview in 2018.

"A close family member used to wake me up just before 2 am and take me to an old hall that looked like a castle, which was a short walk from the church we used to attend in Huntington, New York.

"The place is still there. I could show you exactly where it is…

"Then terrible things would happen - things that a child should never see.

"I was sexually abused there. They told me that if I didn’t do what they told me or if I told them what was going on they would harm Mariah."

At the time, their brother Morgan, 64, confirmed he had been taken to an occult group as a child but declined to comment further.

ALISON'S STRUGGLES

Alison, who was struggling to survive on food stamps, had said she didn't want any money from her famous sister - just a chance at having a relationship again.

"I wouldn't be begging her for money or clothes or food," Alison said.

"It just hasn't been my experience that she would help me with those things and that's not what I would want to bring up with her.

"What I would want to tell her is: ‘Mariah, I know that you've gone through a tremendous amount of pain and difficulty.

“‘I know sometimes you feel as though what you're remembering didn't really happen, you know?

"'I just want you to know that if there was ever any way that you needed help from me, just pick up the phone and call me, and I'll always be there for you."

“A phone call or, better still, a video call would have meant so much to Alison. But it never came."

Mariah confirmed she had lost her mom and sister in a statement to on Monday.

The hitmaker has spoken about her difficult relationships with Alison and her brother Morgan in her 2020 memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey.

In the book, she wrote that it was "emotionally and physically safer for me not to have any contact" with Morgan and Alison.

In her book, Mariah claimed that her siblings would "sell lies" to the press.

She also alleged in the memoir that Alison drugged her with valium and tried to sell her to a pimp and that Morgan was violent towards her, claims which they both denied.

LEGAL BATTLES

In response to Mariah's claims, both of her siblings filed lawsuits, alleging they had suffered emotional distress after reading the books.

It remains unclear how Alison's lawsuit was concluded, but Morgan's case is still active, according to New York Supreme Court documents.

Speaking about her siblings in a 2020 interview with Oprah Winfrey's Apple TV+ series The Oprah Conversation, Mariah said, "We don't even really know each other, we didn't grow up together, but we did.

"Like, they were on their journeys, by the time I got into the world, they had already been damaged, in my opinion.

"But again, I wasn't there. I was dropped into this world and I literally felt like an outsider amongst my own family.

"They just grew up with the experience of living with a Black father and a white mother together as a family and I was for the most part living with my mother, which they saw as easier, but in reality it was not.
