BBC Radio 1 has announced a major schedule shake-up with new presenters.
The fresh faces will join the station for the 2024 Christmas Takeover between Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve.
The takeover was first introduced in 2019 by BBC Radio 1’s Head, Aled Haydn Jones.
Since then, it has been a key platform for aspiring presenters aiming to establish careers in national radio.
Thirteen former guest presenters have gone on to earn permanent positions at Radio 1.
Applications for this year are open now via the and close at 11.59pm on Thursday, September 26.

Radio 1 is looking for DJs and presenters with prior radio experience, whether in community, hospital, student, or local radio.
Nat O’Leary says: “Applying for the Radio 1 Christmas Takeover back in 2021 was the best thing I ever did.
"Those two days of cover felt like a dream come true and then to land my own show shortly after was quite literally unbelievable.
