HE last performed on home soil as a star guest with Stevie Nicks at BST Hyde Park in July.

But Harry Styles could be preparing to go back to being a headliner . . . this time at Glastonbury.

Insiders tell us he has been approached by festival organiser Emily Eavis about headlining the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm.

The ex-One Direction star has never played at Glastonbury, but our mole reckons he would be their dream booking.

A source said: “Harry would be the perfect Glastonbury headliner and Emily has long wanted him on stage at Worthy Farm, but the dates have never quite worked out.”

The timing could not be better for Harry, who is believed to have been quietly working on his fourth studio album.

His last record, Harry’s House, came out two years ago and was a worldwide smash — going straight to the top of the UK charts, where it stayed for six weeks. Harry took the album on tour and, over 22 months, played to millions of fans across the world before finishing in Italy in July last year.

Now he’s had a break, all the signs are pointing to a big comeback in 2025.

Our insider said: “Harry would be an incredible act to watch on the Pyramid Stage. Glastonbury has a fallow year in 2026, so booking Harry for next year would be perfect.

“It is something the team at Glastonbury are pushing for. Whether that dream will come true, however, is still to be decided by Harry’s team.”

After seeing Harry live myself three times at his Love On Tour gigs, I can confirm he is an outstanding live performer with moves to rival Mick Jagger.

And with Cher also in advanced talks to play the Legends slot at Glasto, I think Emily is knocking it out of the park with her targets.

Judas Priest mark their 55th anniversary as a group by reissuing sixth studio album British Steel, while Mumford & Sons’ 2009 offering Sigh No More is getting the same treatment. Suede are also using

National Album Day to honour the 30th anniversary of Dog Man Star, which is going back on to vinyl, along with the Spice Girls’ debut 1996 release, Spice.

Other acts getting in on the action include The Chemical Brothers and my old favourites, Simply Red.

You can pre-order yours now at nationalalbumday.co.uk.

Lord knows where the hell I am going to put all the records I’ve bought.
