Towie’s Mario Falcone to propose to girlfriend Becky Meisner after making return to ITV show

TOWIE star Mario Falcone is set to propose to girlfriend Becky Meisner after making his return to the ITV show.

The reality hunk, 29, has told pals he is serious about Becky and is looking to get down on one knee.

A pal told The Sun’s Bizarre column: “Mario is crazy about Becky and she feels the same way.

“He has been planning to propose to her and can’t wait to show the world how serious he is.”

The pair confirmed their romance last year and in a matter of weeks had already moved in together.

In an Instagram post Mario confirmed: “Today I am a happy man. My girlfriend has moved into mine and made it our home #blessed.”

Mario recently revealed he wouldn’t have proposed to former flame Lucky Mecklenburgh if he hadn’t been on Towie.

The hunk popped the question in 2012 on an extravagant yacht while filming The Only Way Is Marbs.

But the pair split the following year.

Speaking to about the flashy proposal, he said: "I had a lot of pressure on me at the time to do a big engagement. Maybe I wouldn't have done that if I wasn't on the show."

Mario has also admitted that he no longer speaks to Lucy.

He said: "I wouldn't [talk to her] out of respect for her new boyfriend and for Becky. There's no bad blood there. We have both moved on with out lives and I think we are both in better places."

Mario quit the The Only Way Is Essex in 2015 after he was suspended in a row over slimming pills.

He recently returned after 18 months away and was pictured with Pete Wicks and Chloe Sims.
