THREE years on since his last album Dave has broken his silence on his next one as fans hope to see the rapper make a full return to the rap scene once again.
The 26-year-old took to X formerly known as Twitter to finally give fans an update on where he’s at with his new music.
Dave also known as Santan Dave has recently been bombarded by tweets from fans asking for an update on when a new album could be releasing.
Fans are now hoping his next album is his best yet as the rapper revealed that he’s been working on it for nine months.
The music star got straight to the point and asked fans to stop the speculation because it’s not ready just yet.
He wrote: “On the music front, nah not right now but I’ve only been working on it 9 or so months so just park those tweets.”

Fans went wild flooding the post with comments, some even growing frustrated with how long it has been taking, one user commented: “Santan we’ve really waited.”
“Man just drop the music omg we aren’t parking no tweets. Drop it Drop The Album,” added another.
Other fans were excited at the prospect of new music from the rapper, adding: “I just know it will be worth the wait (heart emoji)”
“Thanks for at least updating us Dave. We cannot wait,” penned a fourth.

The artist rose to fame in 2016 after the release of his single Thiago Silva in collaboration with fellow British rapper AJ Tracey.
But, his first significant exposure came earlier in 2015 with his debut EP Six Paths.
His career only continued to gain momentum after the release of his track Wanna Know which was remixed by US rapper Drake bringing Dave to international fame.
Since the rapper has continued to make his mark in the UK music scene collaborating with the likes of Stormzy and Central Cee.
He has also released hit songs such as Funky Friday, Location and Starlight.
The rapper made headlines in 2020 when he performed at The BRIT Awards with his piano ballad Black which left viewers speechless.
During his performance he condemned tabloid coverage of Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, criticised the government's response to the Grenfell Tower Tragedy and referred to Prime Minister at the time Boris Johnson as "a real racist".
Dave’s social and political commentary within his songs have gone on to solidify him as a respected artist in the music scene.
Fans haven’t heard new music from the rapper since last year with the release of hit track Sprinter in collaboration with Central Cee.
The track debuted with 13.4 million streams which was the greatest week of streams for a rap single in UK history.
Outside of the music world Dave has been seen on screens in the hit Netflix drama Top Boy.
He played the memorable character of Modie on the show starring alongside Ashley Walters and Kane Robinson (Kano).
