Geordie Shore’s Marnie Simpson admits she ‘didn’t behave like an appropriate girlfriend’ to ex Lewis Bloor
MARNIE Simpson has admitted she didn't behave like an "appropriate girlfriend" during her doomed relationship with love-rat Lewis Bloor.
Marnie has confessed she did not always act "like a lady" while filming the new series of Geordie Shore, which left her ex-boyfriend Lewis "embarrassed".
Although she doesn't go into specific details about her antics, Marnie has admitted the reasons behind their recent break-up are not "black and white".
Writing in her latest column for magazine, Marnie said: "I didn't behave like a lady or an appropriate girlfriend when I was filming Geordie Shore, and that embarrasses him."
Marnie and Lewis' relationship hit the skids last month.
The couple had enjoyed a whirlwind romance since meeting on Celebrity Big Brother, but it was then revealed that Lewis had cheated.
The former Towie star kissed another woman while Marnie was asleep in bed on holiday in Barcelona with him, and it sparked their break-up.
Admitting to being unfaithful, Lewis exclusively told The Sun Online: "We’d been out in Barcelona and I couldn’t sleep, Marnie was asleep in the hotel, and I’m thinking, ‘F*** this, I don’t wanna be in this relationship.’
“So I went down to the beach and at 5am as the sun was coming up there were a couple of girls down there who I got talking to and I ended up kissing one of them.
“We went back to their room to have a little party, we ended up kissing in bed but that was it, anything about us 'almost having sex' is rubbish."
Lewis did, however, blame Marnie's behaviour during their holiday for his decision to cheat.
He added: “Marnie and I were getting ready to go for a night in Barcelona and suddenly her phone went off and she became really excited that this boy was in the city too.
“Later on we were out with a couple of her friends and her phone rings and it comes up, ‘My Boo’ with love hearts, so I was like, ‘Who the f*** is this geezer ringing her?’ so I say we have to go and meet him.”
Lewis claimed he was left feeling "humiliated" after Marnie "flirted" with the mystery guy before giving him a hug goodbye.
When approached for comment, Marnie insisted: "I bumped into someone I had kissed prior to meeting Lewis and I was a little tipsy by no means all over him. Maybe over friendly perhaps but certainly not all over over him.
"I have never cheated, wouldn't cheat and didn't deserve to be cheated on for this."

Meanwhile, on Monday Lewis returned to Twitter having been absent from the social media site since last month.
Lewis blamed 'losing his phone' for his silence, before excitedly tweeting about his upcoming charity boxing match with Celebrity Big Brother housemate Heavy D.
