LIZZIE Cundy narrowly avoided a VERY awkward reunion with a former royal pal at her latest glam event.
The socialite, 56, is currently soaking up the sun in Los Angeles, expanding her already-extensive contacts book and working on some top secret projects.
While she's caught up with a few old friends out there, Lizzie hadn't been expecting to cross paths with Meghan Markle - who she was once pals with before being brutally 'ghosted'.
Lizzie previously told how the former actress dropped her once she started dating Prince Harry and was not invited to their wedding.
So, it would have made for a frosty reunion if the pair had come face-to-face at the 2024 Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) Gala on Saturday, to which they even wore matching red gowns.
Thankfully for Lizzie, Meghan headed home after the photocall, leaving the presenter to hobnob with the likes of Jamie Lee Curtis and Demi Lovato instead.

She even posed for snaps with boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard and Colin Hanks, son of Toy Story star Tom.
A source told The Sun: “Lizzie was relieved Meghan left the gala early, avoiding what could have been a very icy reunion.
"She’s been very open about how Meghan ghosted her after meeting Harry and was hurt by the sudden cut-off.
"It would have been incredibly awkward, given Lizzie didn’t even get an invite to the wedding.”

The TALK host once told us how Meghan pleaded with her to find her a “famous British man” three years before she met Harry.
The former model struck up a friendship with Meghan after being asked to accompany her to a charity dinner in 2013.
She said at the time: “We were having a girly chat and then she said, ‘Do you know any famous guys? I’m single and I really love English men.' So I said, ‘We’ll go out and find you someone.'"
Meghan had divorced first husband Trevor Engelson, three months before her trip to London.
And she told Lizzie — ex-wife of former Spurs and Chelsea defender Jason — she was in the mood to party and mingle with UK celebrities.
The TV star, who revealed details of the friendship in her autobiography, Tales From The Red Carpet, added: “I was thinking about some of the Chelsea lot and I thought of Ashley Cole as he’d split from Cheryl.
“I showed her a photo of Ashley and she was like, ‘Oh yeah, he’s cute. Does he have a reputation?’ I was like, ‘Well, yeah, but you’re only here to have a bit of fun.’”
Lizzie and Meghan met up again the following day at the Global Gift Gala in West London. She added: “Meghan’s so relaxed, she liked a drink, great fun.
“I remember her asking about my boys. She was very interested and asking lots of questions. Usually you find actresses just talk about themselves. She was really fun, really sweet. I liked her.”
The pair kept in touch, but Lizzie was stunned to find out about Meg’s relationship with Harry in late 2016.
Speaking at London restaurant 100 Wardour St, she added: “I texted saying, ‘Oh my god, I heard about Harry.' And she was like, ‘Yeah I know. We’ll try and hook up.'"

But Meghan then cut all ties — just as she did with Piers Morgan.
Lizzie said: “She was probably told by the Palace to end contact with people she befriended in the media. I was literally ghosted by her.”
