Judge Rinder confesses he wants Piers Morgan for his ‘second husband’ – before suggesting he should go on a DIET
Yet the Strictly star and legal eagle added his current husband is not aware of the plans
WEDDING bells could be ringing for Strictly Come Dancing star Judge Rinder - and Piers Morgan.
The legal eagle confessed he had his sights set on the GMB host for his "second husband" live on today's show, then cheekily revealed his current partner was not aware of his plans.
When reading out Judge Rinder's briefing notes Piers said: "He said 'Piers can ask me anything - I have got him in mind for my second husband'."
The legal eagle, who is launching a new show Crime Stories on ITV on Friday, said: "It's exciting.
"It would be a splendid wedding."
He added: "I think we would make a good couple," while Piers then enthused: "Maybe Susanna can give us away!"
When asked what his wife might think about their partnership, Piers replied: "I think she will be very grateful."
Yet their path to love took a turn for the worse when the TV barrister suggested hubby-to-be Piers should shed a few pounds.
Talking of a date night, watching his new show he asked the ex newspaper man: "What would you cook?"
Piers replied: "Spaghetti Morganese," to which he responded: "I might put you on a diet."
His cheeky commented prompted a roar of "woah tiger" from an astounded Piers as they rounded off their chat.
Last week, Piers lifted the lid on his signature bolognese dish when he slammed chef Mary Berry for using red wine in her version.
The Good Morning Britain host was left shocked after a The Sun exclusively revealed a clip showed the culinary whizz shunning the typical deeper, richer flavour of red to pair with meat in a dish aired on her TV show last night.
Not afraid to mince his words Piers - who revealed the Italian-inspired treat was the only dinner he could make - ranted: "I hate to do this to Queen Mary Berry, but she's wrong about this."
He squealed: "What?! The only thing I can cook is spaghetti bolognese, it's called Spaghetti Morganese it has a twist to it, a kick.
"You do not, Mary Berry, with the greatest of respect, ever put white wine in bolognese."
