Lauren Goodger claims Joey Morrison ‘is a good guy’ who makes her ‘feel good’ about herself… despite previously saying jailbird would ‘like to lock her in a room with a treadmill’ to slim her down

LAUREN Goodger has changed her tune when it comes to how her jailbird boyfriend Joey Morrison sees her, claiming "he makes me feel good about myself".

Only recently she said that he was often commenting on her weight, and would "lock her in a room with a treadmill".

The Towie star, 30, is up and down with her weight, and keeps her fans posted with her plans to slim down.

Talking about her relationship with the pensioner in this week's she said: "I feel good in myself right now and that's so important to me.

"I'm glad people know we're together now.

"Joey is a good guy and he makes me feel really good about myself."

Lauren's new comments come after she claimed Joey would like her “locked in a room with a treadmill” so she can lose weight.

She made the admission as she revealed she’d lost 9lb in just two weeks in a bid to please her man who prefers her “thinner”.

Lauren told that if Joey had his way “he’d have me locked in a room with a treadmill and feed me water and veg”.

Before adding that Joey, who Lauren has been dating for six months while he’s been behind bars, regularly checks her weight loss progress.

“To have him be like, ‘So what do you weigh today?’ helps me.

“He notices changes in my body,” she added.

“The other day he said, ‘Cor, you look good today. When I saw you the other day you looked bloated’.”

She added: “I constantly moan about my weight when we’re together and I probably drive him insane, but he definitely keeps me motivated.”

Joey, 30, was locked up for 16 years for a string of violent drugs related charges.
