DEBBIE Douglas has hit out at James Argent and Gemma Collins for allowing her daughter to shoulder the blame following her one night stand with her ex-boyfriend.
Writing in her column, Debbie, 55, explained how she felt when she first heard James had slept with Gemma on the same day he bedded Lydia last year in Marbella.
She said: "I was angry. Not because it would hurt Lydia, but because Lydia got so much stick for sleeping with James again.
"This happened last year, and Lydia had such a horrible reaction from the public, saying she'd upset James...
"Yet the whole time, he and Gemma had slept together, and they sat back and watched Lydia cry about it.";
Just last month, a source exclusively told The Sun about Arg's lothario ways during filming for the Marbella spin-off.
They said: “They had sex in Marbella at the start of the last series.
“It was one night of passion but had been a long time coming after years of flirting on and off screen.
“James was single at the time but the revelation came as a massive shock to Lydia, who also rekindled with Arg during filming in Marbella last year."

Their hot night happened despite the reality star claiming he had “no desire” to link up with Gemma.
He said last year: “GC is just a friend, I have no desire to head back there or revisit her designer vagina.”
Arg and Lydia had been on-off lovers since the reality show began in 2010, and split last May after Lydia allegedly caught co-star James doing cocaine.
Lydia booted James out of their home after coming home from a club night to find him “out of it”.
