"I keep stroking myself, I can't believe it," Lisa quipped as she made her entrance onto the show but she soon spoke about the realities of having such a major operation.

However, she also confessed that it had not been all plain sailing with the star having to spend as much time lay down due to her leg wound had yet to fully heal.

"My leg wound is weeping daily," she said. "I have to sit down and lay down as much as I can."

Lisa also admitted that she has another operation to go to get rid of the excess skin on her arms.

On Friday Lisa shared an incredible flashback photo with her fans on Twitter, and admitted that she's come such a long way, sometimes she doesn't remember who she used to be.

She wrote: "Sometimes it hits me,TRULY don't recognise the person in the other photo, feel proud of choices I was ALLOWED to make, decided to make change."

In the photo, Lisa is grinning as she poses next to KITT, the car made famous by David Hasselhoff's Michael Knight in Knight Rider.

Wearing a denim jacket, a pair of black trousers and a patterned blouse, Lisa genuinely does look like a different person.

She also shared a more recent picture of her wearing a pair of patterned trousers and a slim-fitting black top.

Lisa, who used to star in Emmerdale as Mandy Dingle, has  gone from a size 28 to a size 12 and she expects to drop another dress size by the time she turns 41 in July.

After losing weight the natural way, she was left with an excess of loose skin, which she recently had surgically removed.

Underneath her incredible throwback, Linda Lusardi asked her how she was feeling after the major - and painful - op.

Lisa replied: "Doing great thanks babes, small steps and day by day I am getting stronger and stronger!"

Last week Lisa told her told pals about going under the knife.

She explained that following the op she had a particularly bad reaction to a series of medications she was given by the doctors - causing her to lose days and imagine things.

She explained: "It was a horrendous reaction - really quite scary and quite daunting. I felt like things were coming in on me. It was very hallucinogenic.

"You've got to try with pain relief - because the pain in ridiculous."

Lisa revealed that the medication, which she didn't name, was a form of pain relief but left her feeling 'lucid' - before revealing she lost a day and a half during recovery because it also caused memory loss.

She added: "I saw this thing and what 'what's that?' and my friends said that Andrew came and brought me a present."

Lisa ended the story by revealing that 'everything was fragmented' to her - but she was soon off the medication after medics realised the reaction.

"I will NOT be having that stuff again," Lisa concluded.

Apart from her frightening reaction to one type of pain relief medication, Lisa announced that the operation was "100% worth it".

Speaking of her new figure, she said: "They asked what shape I wanted and I said I wanted to be a cello - and I'm completely a cello and it's the most incredible feeling!"
