Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson’s new man Chris Clark has awkward face-off with his ex-girlfriend Amber Dowding inside Sixty 6 Magazine party
The exes came face to face at the party and neither of them looked impressed
CHRIS Clark came face to face with his ex-girlfriend Amber Dowding at a swanky celebrity party on Wednesday night.
Rather than a joyful reunion however, insiders reveal the pair – who split last year – gave each other daggers across the room and spent the evening doing their best to avoid one another.
The situation was made all the more awkward by the fact Chris had just returned from the US where he’s shared endless loved up pictures with his new girlfriend, Little Mix star Jesy Nelson.
An insider told The Sun Online: “It was so awkward when Chris and Amber realised they were at the same party.
“Of course they wouldn’t want the other to know they were bothered but they kept shooting looks across the club to see where the other was.
“They were both worried about running into each other so tried to keep a wide birth all night. It certainly wasn’t ideal.”
It’s not surprising the couple aren’t on the best times, as just five months ago Chris declared his love for Amber during the Halloween episode of Towie after telling her he needed space.
The pair didn’t get back together however and earlier this month, Chris went public with Jesy.
Shortly afterwards, Amber tweeted lyrics from an Adele song, writing online: “Send my love to your new lover.”
Her fans speculated the tweet was aimed at Chris and Jesy but Amber didn’t reply to their questions.
Jesy and Chris are currently apart as she continues touring with Little Mix in the US.
Luckily the love birds won’t have to wait much longer to be reunited as Little Mix wrap up their tour on April 5 – with the girls being given a whole month off.
